Publisher's Summary

Homicide detective Brice Marshall's current case has him stymied and frustrated. A serial killer is slaughtering young women. After a long, fruitless day poring over the most gruesome evidence he's ever seen, he needs a break. Stepping into his cousin's BDSM club is a reminder that there is another part of himself. A part that has been left empty in a life ruled by work. The fact is, he's a Dom in search of a sub. When he bumps into Terryn, a slender redhead who's new to the scene, her wide-eyed eagerness even in the face of her nerves attracts him like gravity.

Terryn is the sub of his dreams, with the power to ease his soul. Without warning, the murder case reaches ugly tentacles into the most private part of his world - the woman he wants to claim as his own. The woman whose stubborn search for the delicate balance between sub life and independence could put her directly in the path of the killer.

Very Alpha

If you’re not into BDSM I would tell you pass. I enjoyed the storyline and could not stop listening. Love Christian Fox! I enjoyed the narration.

Great listen

Really good story, well developed characters and story line. It always amazes me how Christian Fox can be the only narrator and I don’t even miss the female voice! Not many narrators can perform an entire book and the listener doesn’t miss the opposite sex voice, so kudos to Christian.

It’s okay I guess

This book was okay, I liked the smut but having it also be a murder mystery with POV’s from the creepy killer was not my cup of tea!

A. The killer was obvious so that was just annoying

B. Again with the sharing in these books but not as a couple. In book 1 it was two best friends who shared and loved their girl which made sense but then they let there cousin watch them with her and would open her up for him (it didn’t make sense to their relationship).

Now in book 2 the story is about that cousin finding a Sub & love but he shares her with his best friend like it’s nothing (not to have a relationship with like his cousins with 2 guys & 1 girl) but just for fun. Then she seems to be really into his best friend too, and that’s just messy for their relationship.
I’ve never read a book series like this where the Dom wasn’t strict on the no sharing she was HIS or if there was a scene they would play out there would be rules and things were discussed ahead of time.
The writing in this series just isn’t the best
