Publisher's Summary

From Dirty Blood:

I killed a girl last night.

I did it with my bare hands and an old piece of pipe I found lying next to the dumpster. But that's not the part that got me. The part that scared me, the part I can't seem to wrap my head around and still has me reeling, was that when she charged me, her body shifted - and then she was a wolf. All snapping teeth and extended claws.

But, by the time I stood over her lifeless body, she was a girl again.

That's about the time I went into shock. And that was the moment he showed up.

Now, all I can do is accept the truths that are staring me in the face. One, werewolves do exist. And two, I was born to kill them.

Get hooked on werewolves in a way you've never seen them before! This version contains the first four audiobooks in the best-selling Dirty Blood series.

Follow Tara's journey through the world of werewolves and hunters from the beginning!

Blood tells

I listened to this box set and even though it's geared to young audiences I enjoyed it. The
storyine was good but sometimes I just laughed at how I could predict the outcome of certain parts.
This book has everything needed to make a good book. It will make you laugh, cry, gasp, smile and make you want to know what will happen next.
I will listen to book five next! I need to know what happens next!
Follow Tara as she is attacked and finds out she is not even human. She kills a werewolf and gets rescued by Wed and her life changes in an instance.
Her normal life is gone and she is finding out what it means to have Dirty Blood!
I really enjoyed this series!

Worst main character ever

Although the basic story line was interesting and could have been developed well, the main character Tara was the worst. I wanted to slap her repeatedly throughout the book and often found myself yelling at her (yes I know she can’t hear me but it made me feel better). Would have stopped listening after the first book it if hadn’t been a purchased set. Will not be looking for the 5th book despite the cliff hanger.

great story line

Book 1 had me hooked, coming to book 3 I started to find Tara annoying. There was no character development for her, as if she didn't learn from what happens and adapt. Truthfully I loved the story, next up is broken blood.

Good start but gets frustrating

This story had a quick start and a lot of potential.

I get really frustrated when the main character/heroine makes really dumb repetitive mistakes. By the end of book 4 I can't call her a heroine, she's more of a catalyst for catastrophe.

With how the fourth book ended I'm not sure I have it in me to go any further into this series.

A great series.

Enjoyed it but the narrator kinda irked me with the monotonous voice when she kept repeating; " he said, she said, your cousin said. It made me struggle although I wanted to know how it ended.

interesting little universe. typical teenage love.. wait. Wes is 31? n Tara is 18/19.. did i hear that right??. that's kinda creepy grooming but if you can get past that. The story itself is quite engrossing.

Frustrated

Overall the series is good. what's frustrating is that the whole series isn't here and leaves you hanging on the fourth book and Audible doesn't have the fifth.

Juvenile female lead

I listen to these books because they were free(plus catalogue)
In the beginning, the story line showed potential, but as the story progressed, there was no real depth and no real character development. As a matter of fact, the 17 year old female lead, acted so immutably that at times I thought she was a 10 year old trying to play an adult. At times her actions actually made me mad..
Not worth spending credits for the remaining books in the series

plot and dialogue are seriously lacking

could not bring myself to finish half way through the first book, as there were too many cringe worthy scenes. narrator is slow at 1x speed, better at 1.2x and their halting speech brings intensity where it should simply flow. found myself frustrated at the flat characters and lackluster plot. too much exposition
