🎙Welcome to The Applicant Podcast. I’m your host, Rebecca Tripp. I’ve graduated from five (5) post-secondary school programs (attending both university and college), I own my own law office now and no, I’m not a lawyer. I’m a licensed paralegal and immigration consultant and on this YouTube channel/podcast, I want to discuss education, immigration, and the law. 🇨🇦
✨E22 LAW FIRM, IN-HOUSE, FREELANCE, or going SOLO... which one is best?
I wrote my paralegal licensing exam on August 1st, 2017 (almost 5 years ago today). Since then I have legal industry work experience in "big" law at a Toronto office, in-house as Lead of Legal, freelancing for lawyers, and running my own sole proprietorship providing immigration representation.
In this solo episode, I discuss my experiences in each role and my advice for those new to the legal industry or looking for a change in their career.
Let me know if you have any questions, and please DM me topics you'd like me to further discuss in future episodes!
