... and that's not a bad thing. I like the story and the characters (mostly). However, every time Wolfe talks about not knowing anything about magic, or the Jinn tells him he's an idiot it feels like the most repetitive filler. It's essentially the same interaction and relationship between The Magnificent Skippy and Joe Bishop in his Expeditionary Force series.
There are multiple repetitive interactions between most of the characters that could easily be left out and would make the story much easier to listen to.
Either way, I'm sure I'll continue to buy the series as they come out, I just wish it could get to the point a little quicker and have fewer of the repetitive character interactions.

Have very much enjoy listening to this series. It’s definitely entertaining. Love the dialogue between the characters especially between Duke, Boots and the genie. RC Bray does an excellent job of narrating.

Another amazing series from Craig Alanson! Such a great story with mysterious characters, action and comedy. All of it voiced expertly by R. C. Bray. I can't wait for book 4 and hope it won't take too long! Now off to listen to Expeditionary Force, a great series by Mr. Alanson and voiced by Mr. Bray!

the book humor is always great but i hope they never stop adding the blooper track at the end because its always a guaranteed laugh
