Publisher's Summary

Disabled with polio from the neck down aged 5, Mark Esho was told he would never walk again. Although he partially recovered, he had to battle against an abusive father and discrimination as a black and disabled person. But not only did he survive, Mark thrived! In an extraordinary story that starts with polio, discrimination, adversity, racism, abandonment and child abuse, Mark takes us through his amazing achievements, from working as a senior manager for a charity and creating several successful businesses, to winning awards and gaining his Masters Degree in Administration.

For anyone who is facing any sort of adversity in their lives, Mark's story provides comfort, and shows that it is possible to overcome impossible odds.

Fantastic

When I listened to this it brought back parallel memories, especially when Mark touched on the micro and open racism in England which they denied for years.
I was raised in West london and had an awful start in life so much so that I and others in similar situations thought that hate and racism was normal !
Great account of his life especially facing the additional stress of major health issues
Tons of respect and thank you
