Ard and his companions are being hunted by King Martin, who has gone completely scorched earth on his own kingdom in an effort to root them out. The lovable mage finds a quiet spot in the uninhabitable wilds of Garrish to train his soul magic—only nothing ever goes quite according to Ard’s plan.

Driven out by King Martin’s escalating mania, Ard must now go through the king to reach the goddess behind it all.

i think i own every book from Bruce at this point and this is yet anorher one i devoured in about 2 days.

Stellar voice acting really makes the whole thing come to life.

Ard might feel silly and annoying at times but that's just because the character is written so well.

notting to say at this point

I love the story entirely, it is simple good and always covers what is needed. I by no means am knowledgeable or an expert when it comes to writing or story telling but each book of this series has been amazing in my opinion, each book covers so much and keeps me interested. each time he releases a new book I listened to all the others just to make sure I didn't miss anything and I end up picking up on details I missed in the others!! its great and I recommend all his works!

the story as a whole.

And that is I not sure but one or two of his fucking around he does for political reasons
And I don’t like it that he forgive his first girlfriend she should’ve had some brains some paranoia, and not trust the prince until he gave her a reason to, and besides that she should’ve known that those people were gonna do something with her letters personally, she should’ve told him before she left face-to-face
I hear people don’t like getting bad news over text so why would they want it over a letter?

I think I just have one problem with this one
