Publisher's Summary

Human beings were created to reflect the image of God - but only to a limited extent. Although we share important attributes with God (love, mercy, compassion, etc.), there are other qualities that only God possesses, such as unlimited power, knowledge, and authority. At the root of all sin is our rebellious desire to be like God in such ways - a desire that first manifested itself in the Garden of Eden.

In None Like Him, Jen Wilkin leads us on a journey to discover 10 ways God is different from us - and why that's a good thing. In the process she highlights the joy of seeing our limited selves in relation to a limitless God and how such a realization frees us from striving to be more than we were created to be.

Love it when authors read their own books. :)

Such medicine to my soul in these dark times. Thank-you Jen for reminding me to look up.

Beautifully written, challenges the listeners view of God and of self. Even almost a year after listening the concepts of this book are rattling around in my brain.

Loved the shift in perspective

I was encouraged by this book. The fear of the LORD is truly the start of wisdom. Its a journey I must continue. My only wish for this audio book would be a formatting thing, instead of labeling the chapter, 1, 2 , 3 etc actually Name the chapters. She already named them in the text. it would be so much easier to navigate the book if the chapters were named. also when their are reflection question in a book, a PDF copy of those question would be appreciated.

Faith Builder

This is a very helpful book, introducing the attributes that belong to God alone, and discusses what it looks like when we try to take those attributes on for ourselves. Reading it has given me a deeper understanding of who God has built my faith and helped me to guard myself against incorrect theology. I was challenged to see how God’s incommunicable attributes affect my own spirituality. Loved listening to the audio book but ended up buying it as well so I could have the verses and discussion questions at my fingertips to refer back to.
