A night spent sleeping on dirt and leaves is not how Claire Matchett expected to spend her vacation.

FM novels are my guilty pleasure, the way bad reality TV is. The story keeps you engaged from the start, she did a good job at setting up the twist in a way that sends you in the opposite direction of what it actually is. Narration was fine except for “anonymous” it was very hard to get through those chapters. I skipped through some of them because the voice was so bad

Overall really enjoyed it! Probably would do 4.5 if that was an option. I agree that some of the characters are pretty flat and annoying at times, but the plot was great and so is the narration.

Loved this book. However main character Claire was quite annoying. Kept me guessing from the start. Surprise ending. Highly recommend.

It was an interesting plot but I just hated all of the characters so much. They were all so annoying.

As always, Frieda McFadden gives a terrific ending. Really twisted ending that even a seasoned listener of hers would find intriguing. Nice story, some of the characters were annoying (as mentioned in other reviews) but overall it was worth it.
