The decision to start a new life is never an easy one, but for Joe the transition was far from figurative. Becoming a permanent addition to a game world, it doesn't take long to learn that people with his abilities are actively hunted. Story
For eons, conquering dungeons has been the most efficient way to become a strong adventurer. Although not everything is as straightforward as it seems. Several questions have always plagued the minds of those who enter these mythical places of power: why are there so many monsters? Where do the amazing weaponry and heavy gold coins come from? Why does the very air fill with life-giving energies? Cal has all of the answers to these age-old questions, for a very simple reason. He is a Dungeon Heart.

Story
An inn is a place to rest, a place to talk and share stories, a place to find adventure, or a starting ground for quests and legends. It is in this world, at least. To Erin Solstice, an inn seems like a medieval relic from the past. But here she is, running from Goblins and trying to survive in a world full of monsters and magic. She’d be more excited about all of this if everything wasn’t trying to kill her. But an inn is what she’s found, and so that’s what she becomes; an innkeeper, who serves drinks to heroes and monsters. Mostly monsters. But it’s a living, right?

Story
The ancient magic of wizards was anything but dark. It was the enlightenment that lifted humanity from the squalor of superstition, and the worship of fell spirits and capricious gods, but those days are gone. The shining glory of the sorcerers burned away the subtlety of wisdom, replacing it with easy power, held only in the hands of the elite - a new age built upon the elemental supremacy of aristocrats and the ignorance of the masses.

Publisher's Summary
Vengeful assassins. A treacherous companion. T-Rex Head Hands.
After the Wolfman nation is shattered, Jaxon has enough spare time to advance his skills and specialize into a better class. Since Joe and his other teammates are either incapacitated or on a mission Jaxon does not believe in, the misunderstood chiropractor-turned-gamer strikes out on his own.
The issue with creating your own path is that you have no idea what awaits you, especially when low charisma guarantees legendary misunderstandings. For Jaxon, that’s half the fun.
Rexus is a Completionist Chronicles side quest focused on Jaxon and is meant to be heard following Regicide.

*spoiler warning*
Not a TERRIBLE book. BUTTT.. can also be an annoying one. Depending on your outlook.
It literally doesn't progress the story line at all. The new narrator isn't a huge deal breaker tho. I hinted this as being a spoiler but actually the artwork is the damn spoiler. The only note worthy moment is literally spoiled in the picture of the book. ACK. MY honest opinion is instead of buying this 6hr book for $15 is look at the art work for it and deduce your own conclusion. It will probably be right

Needs a better narrator
Content is amazing. The story is hilarious.
However, the narration is lackluster. Not a lot of variety displayed in the Male voices and the female voice does not sound very female.
There are amazing narrators out there and a book as good as this one deserves a quality narration.
The narrator also made errors, skipping words and calling Chapter 15, Chapter 14. (Or perhaps 14 was called 13) Either way, the narration output was lacking.
Overall still another great story in the series and worth digesting.

Please Bring Back Vikas Adam
Luke isn’t a bad narrator. But Vikas is just such a perfect fit for the voice of the worlds Dakota Krout creates, that I suspect no one could quite match
It reminds me of the original audio release for Ghost Story in Dresden Files
In the same way, for similar reasons, this is my least favorite audiobook by Dakota Krout. And I suspect Dungeon Eternium will end up right alongside it
Please, pretty please, with sugar on top, re-record them both with Vikas Adam. I don’t care how long it takes for his schedule to free up for it. I think I speak for most of the people here when I say that we would all be happy to re-buy it if/when that happens

Love the book, disappointed by the new voice actor.
I loved this series and Jackson was one of my favorite characters. When I saw there was a new voice actor, I was sad, but decided to give it a shot.
Unfortunately every character’s voice has changed so dramatically that they feel like completely new characters now.
Jackson went from a lovably creepy guy, to sounding like a rich aristocrat.
And it will be a shame if the few lines Joe and Bard had are indicative of what I can expect in the future.
In addition, the voice actor seems to have only 2 different voices: Jackson, and literally almost every other character.

Great story, disappointed in the narrator.
I love Dakota Krout’s books, this one was a little different being a side quest but Jaxon was a great character to experience follow. You get to follow this crazy but lovable character and see the world from his point of view. Was very disappointed to get a new narrator. I feel Vikas Adam did a far better job than Luke Daniels. What bothered me most was the voice Luke used for Jess. If I didn’t know she was a woman I would have never guessed by the voice he used for her.

Disappointed
I have loved this series since book one. I got lucky that this one just happened to be based on my favorite character. Unfortunately I feel it didn't have the same affect due to the switch in Narrator. I have enjoyed other series this Narrator has done, I'm just not happy for the switch. When you get used to the characters and places sounding and being pronounced a certain way, it's hard to hear somebody else come In and change it. The story however was still really well written i thought.

Strange Book, not a fan of the new narrator
The book was a bit weird; mostly from the story being somewhat of a different feel to the others, but also from the new narrator.

New Narrator
I am only around an hour and a half in, and the narrator change has ruined this series for me. This guy sounds fine, but like he's phoning it in or maybe it's my comparison of character changes like the previous narrator's voices for each and the fact that this guy pronounces names differently. Why switch narrators this far into both the Dungeon Born and the Completionist series? I might need to find a new series to get excited about, because this one lost it's charm for me and I'm going to cancel my preorder for the next Dungeon Born book that is coming out soon.
