I love this series. So many books of this genre feel rushed, but this story feel like a true adventure. This is a series I have re-listened to a couple times already and can't wait for more. :)

I typically read along with a book when I can as it helps with reading comprehension, but these two are infuriating, randomly shifting voices on the same character and a massive amount of mistakes between the audiobooks and the kindle versions makes it feel very disjointed.

Voice acting is sub-par

For monster progression fantasy this is well written (still not great) in its genre and has quite a few fun little twists that make it a bit different.

The main issue I have is not the performance per-say but the editing. Throughout the whole book there are moments where the gap between sentences is extremely quick and there is almost no delay in some cases.

I especially like the first people they contacts before the second makes it more believable or just the smart thing

Good monster main character

For some reason this book reminds of Azarinth Healer. There is nothing similar between the 2 series on the surface level. The MC here is a monster, but the pacing and MC's atitude are just perfect, which reminded me of the other book. The duet narration is the cherry on top of the already perfect book.
