Interesting Take on a Classic character

I have been a fan of Tarzan for many years, and wanted to read a different take on the ape man from different authors. Tarzan in this story took a little time to get to like, being used to the highly articulate Earl of Greystoke from the Burroughs, novels, but after a while, I overlooked the difference and enjoyed the story greatly. It was also nice to see one of Tarzan's old villians return.
