Love the character building. The story telling was just crazy. To be able to think up something this insane is extraordinary.

Started listening to the series this summer. Each book has been better than the last. Each book is a continuation of the story but… goes in directions I just did not see coming. Pre ordered the Aspects as soon as I saw you could. Than waited through multiple postponements. I am happy to say that not only was the Aspects worth the wait now I am waiting for book 6 lol. As I waited for the Aspects to come out I relistened to the first book part way and was happy to see what I missed the first time. Ivan Kal wrote one of the best stories I have listened to and I look forward to future books. If you enjoy video games, fantasy, table top role playing games, or epic fantasy movies I highly recommend this series.

Still worth the listen but I found myself on 2x speed or outright skipping portions of background characters stories I didn't care about, as well as skipping the character sheet chapters of anyone aside from Ryun or Zach lol

Main characters still awesome, way too much detail on background characters and story
