Publisher's Summary

Pirateaba returns once again, bringing you the thrilling fifth installment of chart-topping LitRPG series The Wandering Inn.

Kings awake, and emperors build new lands. Change is coming to the world, from the King of Destruction moving to a certain doctor finding more friends from home.

The Wandering Inn has a princess who solves problems rather than creates them, and her name is Lyonette. Yet what happens when the innkeeper returns to manage her inn? Lyonette must learn to be a good employee rather than manage everything herself, and sharing power is never easy...

Nor is it ever simple in war, but that is where Geneva Scala remains. In bloodier and increasingly brutal battlefields, The Last Light of Baleros is now growing in fame, but there is no future there. She is desperate, working against hostile forces who see her intervention as dangerous, and still bears the wounds of her previous war to save lives. But she is no longer alone.

keeps impressing

How in the world does this writer continue to do so well in her 6th book?! Its absolutely incredible. She doesnt do cheap satisfaction, instead serves it up in small deliberate courses through out the entire novel over and over again.

Usually in novels there are a couple of characters I am happy to follow but in this book its every single one. Every single MC is a refreshing drink that you dont even need as I crave for more of every diverging path that is written.

THANK YOU FOR THE HOURS AND HOURS OF ENTERTAINMENT YOURE INCREDIBLE

Many parts slow progress

Erin sounds like lots of effort and should probably have died ten times more than those that die in her place. She is the walking definition of dumb luck and idiot savant. Riyoka appears to be the more paranoid version, with a great memory, and control motivate impulse issues. In each case, they are both trying to get themselves killed because of their lack of self control and emotional disconnects. Just weld them together and I expect the ehole mess will be resolved in one book.

Engaging story.

I would recommend the series, you fall in love with all the vastly different characters over time. Different stories but all woven together. I look forward to reading/listening the next in the series.

Andrea Parsneau is unequaled

The cast of characters is almost endless, and yet I can identify almost all of them by the voice alone. Male, female, old, young, monster, all the different intelligent species, … honestly it’s amazing. I have not heard any other narrator who can do both male and female voices well. She deserves whatever she earns Oh yes, the story. If you got this far into the series you already know it’s magic.

Good book, excellent series and characters.

Excellent writing and stellar characters you grow to care for, and want to see what happens next. The narrator does an excellent job of bringing the story to life.

Unrelenting awesomeness!

I have 185 books in my Audible library, 80% of which are fantasy themed, so I feel like I kind of know this genre and can usually predict where a plotline is going. Pirate Aba continuously defies me! I am in awe of her as a storyteller and aspire to achieve a tenth of her originality. I have just accepted that I have no idea where the story is going to go; my job is just to keep loving where she’s leading. Oh, and of course, Andrea Parsneau kills it as always.

Epic world building

This audible is the escape I didn’t know I needed. I have never fallen in love with a book series as much as I have with The Wandering Inn.
