About the series: This is a mix between LitRPG and xianxia. It's like a car that looks like a LitRPG with dungeons and skills, but the interior and engine are all xianxia. It features a magic system and progression system that are logically and internally consistent, as well as realistic fight scenes and a rational MC.

So... much... filler...
Bland good guy protag that most of us seen tons of times. Predictable story with veeeery slow progression and barely any twists or surprises.
I guess this story is good for background listening while multitasking. It doesn't require much focus to know what's going on.

Amazing Story & Amazing Narrator!
TL;DR Great progression story, well written and exciting. Amazing Narration. Great Value with 3 books + novella. 9.5/10 overall, definitely pick it up!
just an amazing progression/xianxia story.. this was my first xianxia after reading a bit of litrpgs, although definitely quite different there are enough similarities if you came from litrpgs. The story is great, always hooked and want to hear/read more! The progression is also well planned out, steady most of the time with rare power leaps for more significant progress. The narration is great! There's so many awful narrators out there, at times they've even made me quit a series altogether because I just couldn't stand listening anymore. Its definitely not the BEST narration I've ever heard (the narrators for Dungeon Crawler Carl & The Black Tongue Thief are 2 of my favs, the later even being the actual author which is insane)..
Overall, I'd give this a 9.5/10!

No real explanation of what’s going on
The author puts you in a universe with a bunch of planets or rifts or something. They never really explain it.
Then when the protagonist kills creatures, not even a second of sympathy or thought.
Very typical progressive fantasy

Very good
The first book I thought felt a little too easy for the Mc but the second and third books really kicked up the difficulty and made it feel a lot more like Mat and Liz were earning their keep. Good character work, good growth.
The performer wasn’t the best as characters sounded quite similar, especially the girls. Also, the level of emotion was “tired” or “yelling a lot” so that could definitely be better.

Great progression story
Good story, engaging storyline, the pacing is good and the whole is definitely worth the credits. Will buy the rest of this as it comes out

good listen, not enough character struggle for main character
to much single perspective and the main character does not face enough struggle (way to OP so the struggles they did face seemed a little bit weak)

I loved that liz has like all the most pawerful people as perants ants or uncles

Loved it!
This series was a new to me author and I'll definitely be looking for any other works. I loved the story line as well as the characters. I'd recommend this book!

decent for a credit
iseki meets cyberpunk esk . like alot of other lite rpg this book falls into this pattern of worrie about money(teir) buying skills , and leveling up like a video game , the story at first drags you into the world and explains how the world works . then tosses it to the side for a make believe war with no risk and one of the most bland written MC . one of those story's where everything just works out for the MC just because .
ok for a listen but won't be getting book 4 unless in cones in a combo pack like the first 3
