About this listen

Witches cometh.

The Wind Runner is visiting Riverfarm, and Emperor Laken Godart couldn't be happier. Summer has arrived on Izril, and with it, trouble is brewing. The prosperity of the Unseen Empire has brought both enemies and unlikely allies to the north. A coven has descended upon Riverfarm, seeking a grand bargain with the [Emperor].

However, all of Ryoka and Laken's mettle may soon be tested, for these are no ordinary [Witches]. Where there is weakness or desperation, opportunity arises. Beware the [Witches] because they belong to old ways and even older magic.

Beware offending them because for [Witches]—everything is personal.

This would be great as a TV show. There is so much going on in it.

I didn’t know the storyline was updated. I read the version online awhile ago. I enjoyed the updates! I sew as my main hobby (I make almost all my own clothes and my kids clothes) so I thoroughly enjoyed Bel the stitch witch and all the needle and thread content. I have lost some love for the Laken storyline overtime but the witches and Doreen keep me intrigued to follow river farm. As always, pirateaba continues with excellent writing and Andrea Parneau’s narration is unmatched. Some pronunciations were different than in my head when I read the online version, but I got used to it pretty quickly. Thanks for another great audible book! I will re-read the series as the audiobooks come out.

Make sure you listen to this!

I finally thought I would like Ryoka Griffin, however I am realizing that I prefer the love/hate view of her character. Anyways, another good book. Not my favorite, however I am reading/listening to The Wandering Inn as series.

can't wait for the next book

I am very excited to listen to the next book. This book was so interesting and fun. Very fresh, and new subjects.

Wow! Thanks for the good story

This is a great addition to the series what I especially liked about this book is that it basically had one big storyline and held to it throughout. It wasn’t jumping all over the place like some of the other books so it was very entertaining and I liked it a lot

Thanks for the great book!

of all the Wandering Inn stories this one is the only one I didn't devour as soon as it was available. This one took a while to finish. It's because my 2 least favorite characters greedily took up a full book. My feeling towards the pair improved slightly but not enough to favour them. A Blind King Complex and a Walking temper tantrum do not make for good reading. The Witches added as a new Foe or Hero, there's some room to grow there. Ms Parsneau never disppoints, always flawless. Sorry to dis this book when in my mind all but this one were 10/10. solid 8 for sure.

I hate saying this

Probably one of my favourite in the series so far. The voice acting as always imbues so much individual character into each of the witch that we meet. Really brings back some of the more horror-like elements that come from fantasy settings at times. 10/10 would recommended.

One of the best in series

I can't even begin to describe how much I love this author and narrator! this is not only my favorite lit RPG but my favorite book series I have ever read or listened to! the story is so rich and complex and so full of amazing characters, some of which have only been touched on! Aaron the main character is absolutely my favorite! this author's story with the narrator skill makes me laugh, cry, and cheer until my voice is raw!

Amazing

Kinda wish it was as long as the other books
But it's good with the content we have now. Ig

It was OK but it was lore building

I love the Wandering inn and eagerly await the next book. Nothing to criticize really. I love and hate Belavierr's character. Very little boring parts for a 46 h book. Definitely would recommend and worth the credit.

Great
