My sister and I listened to this book. She found this audiobook hard to listen to. I suggested listen at a faster speed as I do with all my audio books. Don't miss out just speed up, you shouldn't miss this message. The opening story is inspiring. Many great life comparisons to help motivate but also allows for slip ups. Make habits tiny
It may sounds insane but making habits tiny helps people be able to actually make the habits stick in their lives. Take a habit you already have and stack another habit to it but keep it small such as after you brush you teeth, make the bed or do two push ups. Then celebrate doing that new habit. I’ve tried this in my own life and yes celebrating seems crazy/awkward but it helps you brain wire in that new habit.
This book is for everyone because not many people have really learned a tried and true method to creating new habits and making them stick! This book will help you do actually that.

Alright Book
I didn't love this book but it wasn't bad. It was full of insightful information about how to systematically develop a new habit, not so much on how to successfully end bad habits, though. I think this book is geared more towards how to create change for employees with a business and company more so than individuals, although it is about that also. It just seems to focus a lot on changing habits within a group.
I guess what I didn't really love about this book is the fact that the anecdotal stories mentioned don't ring all that true to me even though the author mentions several times that they are. He draws from his own experiences, as well as family, friends and clients but the stories just sound made up to me. Which took away from what he was saying.
Still, I'd give this book a chance if you're new to habit forming and want to learn more about it. He provides a PDF to go with what he's teaching but if you're driving or at the gym, which most people tend to do whole listening to audiobooks, then it's not going to be very helpful.

Hope, Perspective Shift, and a Strategy for Change
I have already read the book, and when a book's principle content is really important to me, I will often buy both the printed version and the audiobook. This is one of those books! BJ's narration (and his opening chapter about why he wanted to narrate it himself) offer hope to anyone who is trying to overcome challenges, even if you've previously -- and repeatedly -- failed.
I highly recommend!

Dr. BJ Fogg did a really great job explaining why and how you can design the behaviors that you want into your life, while pushing out the behaviors you want to change. Simple, small, celebrate and tie it to another habit, and only then grow it. ADD solution?
