Publisher's Summary

He didn’t know he was looking for a home, until he found one.

Savannah was unlike any city Derek had ever been to. For the first time since his arrival in Cydaria, Derek actually met a respectable city lord. Natalie Savannah and the city she ruled were much more than he’d imagined.

With this combination, Derek made the decision to put down roots by building a shop from scratch and moving his people in. He was even able to get Silvi the beloved kitchen that she so desired, along with personally meeting Alanah Swan and learning new things about the new system he was thrown into—things that only someone who was truly strong would know.

Not only that, but with his help, the Kingdom of Cydaria was able to find and deal with a threat from within in the form of Gerald Torith. With the threat of Torith now taken care of, Derek can finally relax knowing that the terrible man can never use those he cares about to get to him, and hopefully, the Kingdom of Cydaria will be able to use their new captive to weed out other threats to the kingdom.

However, none of that has anything to do with Derek any longer. He lent his help and got the job done. Now, he’s looking forward to the auction and any gains it may bring him.

Maybe it’s time for him to relax; or maybe a prince has other plans for him. Maybe new trials await.

Don’t miss the fourth installment of Derek’s journey in the System Universe. Join Derek in this unique combination of the LitRPG, Isekai, and Slice of Life genres. He has friends, a bond that should last forever, and even a home. What more could our overpowered protagonist ask for?

Unfinished arc

First of all I really enjoyed this series but this arc(book4) is unfinished they didn’t even get to finish the dungeon, which i though this arc is all about, and next arc will be about war.

i finished this way too fast.

I finished this way too fast, the idea of having to wait for book 5 is depressing that I might actually have to start reading it.

meh

story has been kind of interesting, but with a whole lot of nothing building up to.... almost nothing. no stakes, nothing to truly overcome, just fortuitous encounters again and again.

narrator needs to stop reading like it's some breathy, desperate bedtime story. you can't tell any of the character apart, it's all the same tone, inflection and cadence across the board.

I was hoping it would get better by the 3rd book.... it has not.

not the worst I have listened to, but there is definite room for improvement.

Storyline keeps getting worse

Why keep repeating stats? fully half hour or more taken up with stats. I've never used the 30 second skip so many times while reading. After 4 books I feel like you owe me a free one. I think I'm done with this series.

why even put this out

ita not a full book by any measure. it's like they are just cutting up a book to sell it in pieces. it so frustrating nothing really happens just a couple fights can u at least finish an arc. like I thought the book would be the whole dungeon but it was not even half illl probably drop the series for a few years and then check if the plot has processed at all. I like the over all story but the way they are putting this out is just frustrating. I get everyone wants to make money but have some pride in your work and maybe a modicum of respect for your fan base. I honestly just feel ripped off. it's not even Luke a cliff hanger it's like someone had a book and the just cut it up mid paragraph. I was going to give it 3 stars but I'm going to lower my rating in the hopes this never happens again.
