  • Toney Springer is "Wild T" - a Juno-nominated blues-rock guitarist and singer, songwriter and also a good friend. He has fronted Wild T and the Spirit since 1990. The band has released a number of hard hitting albums and is known for their live performances that are tough to follow for any other act.

    Toney is also a great storyteller and he talks about and we share quite a few laughs about his musical upbringing in Trinidad (with stories to boot), his arrival in Toronto where a new musical world was waiting for him, his time playing and recording with David Bowie and his appearance as Jimi Hendrix in the Monkees movie.

    We feature the song "I've Got The Rhythm" at the end of the podcast.
