In 2117 a Rift starship had discovered that humans have invaded a planet they consider theirs. The humans are judged extremely dangerous and must be eliminated. It will take a while for them to return to reclaim their property. LCDR Rick Cassidy and GSGT Molly Pickford have become very important to the New Hope Colony.

Suspicious activity around some islands south of the Alpha continent has triggered a reaction at Colonial Ranger HQ. Decisions made at Ranger HQ mean that Lieutenant Commander Rick Cassidy and Gunnery Sergeant Molly Pickford will have to head to the eastern settlements. But first...Major Naomi MacCaffrey, the Canadian officer saved in Nigeria by Molly five years before, checks into the Logistics Directorate! 

The Rift have begun their invasion of the New Hope colony. They've shot down the 850-ft long transport Cairo which crashed in a mountain valley with CDR Rick Cassidy, GSGT Molly Pickford, and 50 female students from the New Hope Academy. The aliens have taken Southport and set their sights on their next target, New Cancun, as thousands of refugees pour into the western settlements.

A shocking secret uncovered and a treasure trove of weapons that just may save the New Hope Colony from annihilation. It's a gut punch when Naomi MacCaffrey realizes just who Molly Pickford is at the end of the second day of the invasion of the New Hope Colony. 

It’s time to begin training the students, and teachers from the New Hope Academy who survived the crash of the Cairo to fight like colonial rangers. They have just two months to get ready before the lake and river in their mountain valley freezes and the deadly demon wolves come down to eat them, and the aliens may come before that.

It's just over 10 days into an invasion by the alien Rift and their Andoval mercenaries and Commander Rick Cassidy and Gunnery Sergeant Molly Pickford have ramped up the pressure on the students and teachers to see just how far they can push them. Just how fierce are these girls?   

It's just two weeks into the alien invasion and the looming Battle of Winter Haven may be the end of the human presence on the eastern end of the Alpha continent. Three weeks into the alien invasion of the New Hope Colony on Tau Ceti 4, Major Naomi MacCaffrey, Captain Zoey Bryant and a group of other officers from the Hot Tub Brain Trust have proposed a raid on the New Cancun Ranger Base to recover material needed for the defense of the colony.
