Faith thought starting a new school for her senior year was as bad as it was going to get. She thought making new friends and finishing her exams were going to be her biggest problems, but she was wrong. When she meets smooth-talking Sam on her first day, she can tell something isn't right about him. After going to a party and bumping into him again, she finds herself waking up the next morning with no memory of what happened. There is someone who knows what happened, but is he willing to tell the truth?

When she meets smooth talking Sam on her first day, she can tell something isn't right about him. After going to a party and bumping into him again, she finds herself waking up the next morning with no memory of what happened. There is someone who knows what happened, though, but is he willing to tell the truth?  

Faith thought that telling the police about her attacker would protect other girls from being hurt like her. That’s not quite how it worked out, though. After she told the police about her attack, the whole town had turned against her. They all thought she was lying and that Sam was getting his life ruined by her. When she realized she couldn't just accept defeat, she went in search of the only other girl who knows the truth about Sam. Will she be able to find the girl who has spent her life running, and if she does, will she be able to bring her home?

The court case is getting close, and Faith can feel the tension building. Her plan to blackmail her attacker has failed, and her friend Danny decides to take things into his own hands. Everything that could go wrong is going wrong, and Faith isn't sure whether things are going to work out any more. When the court case is coming to a close, and all the jury seems to be buying Sam’s story, Faith thinks that all hope is lost. But when her lawyer calls a surprise witness to the stand, things might just swing her way.
