À l’écoute d’un propos de vérité, il mesure l’enfance passée, la jeunesse dépensée, l’honneur et la grâce divine. Composé à l’ombre d’un deuil—la mort du duc de Bourgogne, trépassé devant Nancy en Lorraine—ce poème méditatif interroge la gloire qui s’éteint, la vanité des choses et la constance des âmes. Une élégie chevaleresque, grave et sobre, où le temps et la mémoire conduisent vers une ferme résolution.

Inspiré du mythe de Perséphone, il célèbre la voix des femmes, leur force créatrice, les liens qui les rattachent au vivant, à l'amour et à l'animalité, ce qui rayonne en elles et perce le monde des ombres pour renaître sans cesse à la vie. Cette version est une lecture du texte original, interprétée par l'autrice et mise en musique par François-Pierre Fol (violoncelle) et Troy Von Balthazar (guitare, clavier) qui a aussi composé des chansons inédites en bonus.
