a solid extension of Clean Sweep.
The second installment of the innkeeper series, this book does a wonderful job adding to the world of Dina. Sean is gone but not far from her thoughts. Dina's inn is empty when the arbitrary comes with an impossible task. to keep her inn alive and with a hefty monetary reward Dina decides to take on the impossible.
In this book Dina meets brothers George and Jack, their cousin Gaston and another surprise relation. Fans of the edge series will recognize these characters and get to see them all grown up and after the dust has settled from their previous adventures. the tie in is done wonderfully.
with some old characters and many new ones, we get to see Dina in a true role of innkeeper as she hosts more people than ever before.
I love the story. fully recommended it to anyone who enjoys a good sci-fi. it does have some romance but it is in no means gushy or have any explicit scenes.
if you enjoyed the first book you will enjoy the second! Buy it and keep exploring the universe.

Missing a passage of the book
Loved the book but this is missing from the end of the 16th chapter. Time stamp is 10:38:40. This should have been included :
“I do believe you let the Arbitrator off too lightly," Caldenia said.
I smiled.
Her Grace raised her eyebrows.
"I entered his name into the Problem Guests database, complete with the description of the apple incident. The next time he attempts to find an inn on Earth, he will find it exceedingly difficult. In fact, I'm pretty sure that he will have to return here. It's frightening how high you can raise a price of a room when you are the only Innkeeper willing to take the guest in."
Caldenia grinned.

Fantastic book
This wonderful exciting book, very neatly brings beloved characters from a different series, and includes them in this world. An impossible peace summit is held and much excitement is had. I love Ilona Andrews will enjoy this book many times I'm sure.

Marvelous story with hidden aliens living among us
I really enjoy the fact that the story takes place in the here and now, as well as being in a galaxy shared with all kinds of aliens. And being set in Texas, with a "Southern Belle" as the heroine is great touch, and meshes so well with the flavour of the story.
