My own story - and the story of this book - began in Italy, where I lived out my youth. The plot thickened with a detour to Australia before I answered the call of the United Kingdom, where I’ve finally seen my dreams come true. Along the way, I’ve rolled with the punches and spent quite a lot of time on the canvas. But I kept getting back up - and I hope my story will inspire you to do the same.
