more of the story no need to sell you on that if you have made it this far in the series. the onlything that is off is the sound editing, you can easily hear the difference in revisions and re-reads which can jar you out of the story.

honestly the worst part about this is having to wait for the next installment... the story is great and keeps you interested the whole time was upset to see if was only 24 hours long... I wished it was longer so it would keep going

But to be clear, I love the narrators voice. The story is great.

Spoiler alert: I’m perplexed how Rugrat keeps pulling ahead of Eric in power even though Eric is doing a lot. Can’t figure out why Eric has seemingly has slowed his body cultivation, by the end of a boom, no matter what Eric does, Rugrat is further and further ahead of him. I think that dynamic is interesting, I guess I need to see where it goes, but following the MC as they grow is the most satisfying parts of these books. So I hope they get back to it. I hope Eric takes a big leap.

Moving on: I find it curious how the power they have gained never seems to translate. For instance in the level range of the 40’s author says something like, “Eric now knew he was stronger now than he had ever been on earth”. At level 40+ he now knows this? Every thing they have done, every stat they have grown has basically been “base + (modifier) = really strong…Eric can heal himself they have grown strength, stamina, mana stamina, mana pool etc and 3 or 4 books in Im not seeing it translated into “awesomeness” yet. This is just a quibble and I enjoy the books a lot but I’m waiting on all these fantastical stats to add up to something they can do. Lots of mana is great but when you use formations and mana storage then…what’s special about their level? Up to this point they had been stronger than their level showed, now that seems to have evaporated. Again personal quibbles and no big deal. For all I know on the next book I get my mind blown. And also this is how I’m perceiving the story and may not be how you all feel about it.

Either way, for sure read these books. Fun story, a cool direction and some fantastical powers are coming into play for sure…I just hope the specialness of not just what our MC have built but their own cultivation journeys will set them apart.

I love this whole series so far can’t wait to see what is next for Eric and Rugrat. The books have the right amount of stats reading and it doesn’t stall the story like some other LitRPG I have read and listened to.

love these books. They have their own charm that I really enjoy. I'm a big lit rpg fan and I enjoyed everyone of these. This is the 2nd time I've listened I'm excited to get to the newest one!
