great story and a solid continuation to the series

Love this series. Absolutely stellar. Very unique system that’s flexible and not hyper literal with status debuffs and other such nonsense. Clearly smart writers, you would have to be to dream this up and build it out. Love the narration.

Only criticism is a small one, women always sound salty and crazy when narrated. It’s not a hubs deal, it’s moots to do with the narrators range for female characters which is admittedly very good, but the women always…always “sound” unbalanced to some degree. Whatever, not a deal breaker but fair to mention. He is a top narrator for me, so I love hoots work.

Ya good installment. Starts off really strong and gets a lot done in a lot of really cool ways. Then it switched it up with a really different development path for Randidly that I took a moment to enjoy as much.

everything was fine tell Randidly goes to the front line then it immediately gets terrible. first, the splitting out of his images and following the chimeria which has the personality of a moody child of is rodcupusly annoying.

What annoys me even more and what truly ruins it for me is he meets a girl and IMMIDIATLY "has a connection". Don't get me wrong, I don't mind some romance, in fact I enjoy it but it's so out of left field and he immediately just falls on love. my god that's dumb. like infuriatingly stupid. worst part is I just started book 10 on hopes that the images coming together again would solve this but NOPE! They immediately kiss. Now it sounds like book 10 is going to revolve around it...my disappointment is immeasurable and my week is ruined.
