The Narrator did a really great job. I read half of these books years ago and decided to make them a part of my one hour commute each way to work, and I couldn't wait to hop in the car and keep listening. I wish this narrator did the entire series...
As for the story itself..Terry Goodkind has created a truly magical world that I wish I could visit. The man could describe to you exactly what he imagined his world to be with his brilliant descriptions down to the most beautiful detail. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to begin an epic fantasy journey with characters you'll come to love. On to the next one!

the Narrator was amazing. voices were strong, consistent and differentiable to each character. he did a wonderous job on this book. the effort and emotion he out into this work was completely amazing and stunning. 5 stars all around. 100% recommend.

I've read the books a million times. I wanted to have someone read them to me for a change.

Sam's performance of the books is absolutely amazing. His character voices can be a bit silly at times, but he totally commits to it. He sells the characters and story well. When narrating the third person perspective, his voice is very easy to listen to. I fell asleep to this audiobook on many different nights.
