Have you ever noticed that when you feel overwhelmed, you stop taking care of yourself the way you should be? Then, because you aren’t taking care of yourself very well, you don’t feel your best and start slacking off which, in turn, puts more pressure on you because your responsibilities and to-do list starts piling up, causing you to feel even more overwhelmed? And since you feel overwhelmed, you stay in that rut. This is a nasty cycle I get in to and it’s tough to pull out of it!
When you feel this way, you might ask “what can I do?”
Today I want to share five simple health habits that I personally like to focus on when I start feeling overwhelmed. These simple habits always help me pull myself out of that rut so I can start feeling better. They help reduce the stress and overwhelm to keep me out of that not-so-healthy cycle and hopefully they can help you, too!
