  • 31. Miles to Motherhood on the Road of Resilience with Alison Beder Solway
    Aug 13 2025

Alison Beder Solway is a debut author whose work is fueled by her belief that hope is a brave and deliberate decision. As a fitness expert and founder of ABS Fitness, an online platform dedicated to women’s health and empowerment, Alison is passionate about helping women build strength—both inside and out—at any stage of life.

In her memoir, The Miles We Run, she chronicles her deeply personal journey to motherhood through surrogacy and the transformative lessons she gained along the way. These lessons later inspired her as she trained for and completed the New York City Marathon. While these two experiences were vastly different, they were united by themes of perseverance, patience, and resilience.

When she’s not creating content for ABS Fitness or working with clients, Alison enjoys running, cooking, and reading, but her greatest joy comes from spending time with her family.

  • 30. Woman Emerged Series: Wisdom from the Inside and the Outside of Divorce with Michele Locke
    Aug 6 2025

Michele Locke is no stranger to divorce. As an attorney, she’s spent over two decades helping clients navigate their own divorces. As a child of divorce who overcame trauma to help others, she also spent time as a judge overseeing contentious divorces and child custody cases. When the time came for her own divorce, she didn’t shy away from it. Instead, she celebrated moving on with a divorce party – a trend becoming increasingly popular.

Michele’s divorce party wasn’t about ignoring the pain but reclaiming her story, celebrating resilience and embracing a fresh start. For her, it was a way to honor growth, find joy and look ahead with strength.

Michele Locke’s new podcast, lovelustlaw, premieres July 1! Find it wherever you listen to podcasts. This gripping series goes beyond the headlines and into the courtroom chaos of real-life relationship fallout. From celebrity divorces to deadly love stories, Michele unpacks the legal twists, emotional turns, and shocking truths behind modern relationships.

  • 29. Sitting With Grief
    Jul 25 2025

In this heartfelt solo episode, I share my recent reflections on grief. From the gut-wrenching experience of losing our beloved dog, Cheyenne, to attending memorials for both a childhood friend and a young child, grief has been surrounding me, and it’s made me think deeply about what it means and how we move through it.

Grief is often painted as pure sadness, but as I talk about in this episode, it’s so much more than that. It’s weird and beautiful, painful and even joyful. It’s rooted in love. If you’ve ever lost someone, a person or a pet, I hope this conversation makes you feel seen. I also share what helped me support my kids through their first real experience with loss and how we can hold space for others who are grieving, without trying to fix it.
