Story
The holly-jolly holidays aren’t for everyone, least of all when you look back on that one Christmas when there were two definitely haunted dolls waiting for you and your sister under the tree. You have to assume that’s where it all started. And so it was for Jenny Lawson. Now, she lives in the land of eternal Halloween, as evidenced by her interior decor and general state of darkness. (Although, if you ask her, her taxidermy zoo is less dark, more delightful. But not everyone has taste, so what are you going to do?)

Audie Award Nominee, Humor, 2013
For fans of Tina Fey and David Sedaris - Internet star Jenny Lawson, aka The Bloggess, makes her literary debut.
Jenny Lawson realized that the most mortifying moments of our lives - the ones we'd like to pretend never happened - are in fact the ones that define us. Hilarious!
I love Jenny Lawson's laid back, long -tangent - styled humor! You feel the pains she goes through, and root for her, as well as laugh with her over the incredibly far fetched situations she seems to happen often. I love this!

Don't Pronounce the G
I read the 2nd book first and absolutely loved it. This was great too.
It did drive me crazy that Jenny pronounces the "g" when saying "ing" words - so I'm not that different than her. I know she will understand. ❤❤❤

hilarious
my family read out parts of the book during long car trips, but I had never read the whole book. Having the author read it to you is the best. she is brilliant performer. audio version includes some material cut from the book.

Entertaining. Laugh out loud and wonder.
You listen and think to yourself if this shit is real. IT IS. then you wonder if yourself are conditioned with the same social disability since you can relate to the random and odd circumstances of life. Book is not meant for people who are uncomfortable with naming private parts. Narration is best from the author as it relates to the “tangent” of thoughts and events. Enjoyed thanks

hilarious
I love Jenny's frenetic way of telling a story. even if it isn't always chronological, it is always guaranteed to make you laugh. would absolutely recommend to anyone, unless they're offended by copious cursing and liberal use of the word vagina.

weirdly relatable...
as someone with ADHD, Social Anxiety, G.A.D, and OCD personality traits, this book was a wild story with relatable moments and hilarity I cannot even describe. There's no way to explain this book to someone, trust me. I've tried!

A Must Read for any one with anxiety or depression
this is a must-read for anybody with anxiety or depression. It's not often that you find great books about either subject, and to find one that actually approaches it with a sense of the seriousness and humor is a Dimond in a sea of negativity. I love Jenny! She is my new God, and so are raccoons... And so are squirrels. #Audible1

I coudn't stop laughing!
I couldn't stop laughing! I found Jenny Lawson's books a few years after I was diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and a panic disorder.
I got to laugh about my own struggles after listening to hers. imagining the scene in your head is easy with the way she tells her story!
Listen to this book before you listen to furiously happy
