Power is one of the most misunderstood - and therefore vilified - concepts in our society. Many assume power is predetermined by personality or wealth, or that it’s gained by strong-arming others. You might even write it off as “dirty” and want nothing to do with it. But by staying away from power, you give it up to someone else who may not have your best interest in mind. We must understand and use our power to have impact, and pioneering researchers Julie Battilana and Tiziana Casciaro provide the playbook for doing so in Power, for All.

What's the difference between you and them? They actually did it. You didn't." In her lively social history of American women and aging, acclaimed New York Times columnist Gail Collins illustrates the ways in which age is an arbitrary concept that has swung back and forth over the centuries. From Plymouth Rock (when a woman was considered marriageable if "civil and under fifty years of age"), to a few generations later, when they were quietly retired to elderdom once they had passed the optimum age for reproduction, to recent decades, American attitudes towards age have been a moving target.

A compelling look inside the Space Shuttle missions that helped lay the groundwork for the Space Age, Shuttle, Houston explores the determined personalities, technological miracles, and 11th-hour saves that have given us human spaceflight. Relaying stories of missions (and their grueling training) in vivid detail, Paul Dye, NASA's longest-serving flight director, examines the split-second decisions that the directors and astronauts were forced to make in a field where mistakes are unthinkable and errors led to the loss of national resources - and more importantly one's crew.

Most organizations and individuals work in the context of annual goals and plans; a 12-month execution cycle. Instead, The 12 Week Year avoids the pitfalls and low productivity of annualized thinking. This book redefines your "year" to be 12 weeks long. In 12 weeks, there just isn't enough time to get complacent, and urgency increases and intensifies. The 12 Week Year creates focus and clarity on what matters most and a sense of urgency to do it now. In the end more of the important stuff gets done and the impact on results is profound.

You'll never see leadership the same way again after reading this book. These 15 commitments are a distillation of decades of work with CEOs and other leaders. They are radical or provocative for many. They have been game changers for us and for our clients. We trust they will be for you too. Our experience is that unconscious leadership is not sustainable. It won't work for you, your team, or your organization in the long term.

Did Thomas Malthus (from whose name the word Malthusian derives) really believe that famines were desirable? In The Classical School, Callum Williams debunks popular myths about these great economists and explains the significance of their ideas in an engaging way.

What the critics say
“We suffer when we become separated from our deepest, truest nature. Heart Minded offers us guidance on the sacred journey home...helping us to awaken from our busy, never satisfied minds to the heartspace where love is always and already right here.” (Tara Brach, author of Radical Acceptance)
“A relevant, practical guide, full of inspiration to help you clear the channel of your heart and follow your truth.” (Elena Brower, best-selling author of Practice You)
“Gentle and wise, Blondin’s approach is characterized by the bedside manner of devoted midwife to your healing process. Like her voice, it is a soothing poultice for the weary-but-spirited seeker. Heart Minded will crack you open down the middle from page one. It is all at once a centering meditation, a practice, and an olive branch extended into the depths of your soul.” (Pixie Lighthorse, author of Prayers of Honoring)

Stunningly transformative!
Thank you Sarah Blondin. 💕This book has changed my life. No exaggeration. I truly have become heart minded and it is revolutionary!! To look deeply within, melt the walls and begin living from my heartspace instead of from the constant chattering of my mind. I have risen above my suffering and fear and I feel free-er and more capable of radical self-love and compassion than ever before, by light years. Having experienced this, there is no unexperiencing it! Paradigm has completely shifted. I will definitely practice this heartmindedness through meditation and quiet judgement free introspection, but I now know and revel in the fact that I am whole and already have what I need inside of me in abundance to heal and live my best life. It feels like a monumental gift. What a stunningly beautiful awakening. I am 47 years old and never once had I told myself 'I Love You'. It cracked something wide open in me, and now I say it all the time - and feel it and mean it! Hearing Sarah narrate her intimate poetic message to me was like a loving soothing balm - truly the ultimate way to experience this book is through audio. So grateful to have happened upon this game changer of a book. Please listen, your heart is waiting!💞🌈✌️

Divine Timing for a Divine Message
I was introduced to Sarah Blondin by a lovely soul earlier this year and her book could not have come out at a more perfect time for me. I find myself working hard every single day at keeping my heart open and not shutting it down again. Sarah's soothing voice and gentle message about becoming heart minded is just the salve my soul needed and I am already planning to read it and listen to it again right away. I have already gifted it to two soulmates and know it is already as important to me as "The Untethered Soul" is. Thank you for this beautiful book and these heart-opening messages, Sarah.

Absolutely amazing!!!
This book made me cry so many times, I even balled at some points. The magic of opening the heart is so powerful and so healing. This work is what the world is missing. Living in love could heal is all. Sarah Blondins voice is so penetrating and loving.
