Just ok

Usually reviews are for either very good books or very bad ones. This one is just ok. The narrator went on and on and on. The book and narration soon became just that much background noise. Wasn’t for me....

Disappointing

I only finished this book because I really wanted to know what happened not because I liked the characters or the love story. I didn’t like the narrator. His cadence of speech and the up and down lilt was annoying. But probably would have been ok if I believed in the love story. I didn’t. I didn’t believe for a minute their instant attraction nor did I believe that she belonged with the team. I liked only one badass girl on the team and bringing another was far fetched to me. They should have let her be with her other team then meet up later or something. If the next book is about another girl soldier joining the team I’m out! Lol
