For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Editorial Review
How to Win Friends and Influence People is a deceptively simple Audible book that has drastically changed the lives of countless thousands since 1936 through its advice on finding success in all aspects of life. In this world-renowned title, writer Dale Carnegie invites you into a world where you can have the job and life you want by changing the way you act towards others. Its chapters are overflowing with actionable advice you can use for greater success, whether you’re at work, home, school, or in a social setting. As a listener you will discover sections on handling people, winning people over to your way of thinking, making people like you, leadership, and ways to create a happier environment at home. Andrew MacMillan lends his resonant voice to the narration. He speaks with a certain sobriety yet speeds up his pace and lightens his tone at fitting moments for an engaging listen that makes seven hours fly by. While this formative title was released in 1936, its origins began much earlier. Carnegie had already spent decades teaching courses on how others could improve their public speaking and communications. In the early 30s, businessman Leon Shimkin attended the course and convinced Carnegie to turn the course notes into something more permanent.

Very good book with relevant ideas and thoughts
Hey. So being someone who decided he needed to work on his interactions with others in a professional and personal setting, this book definitely helped me out a good deal.
It's not preachy or out of touch with how people interact.
It uses real examples and demonstrates in a practical way how you can approach people and deal with situations better. It may not be exactly 100%, but it's honest and tells you clearly that people don't work this way. We have to feel our way around a conversation.
And I really appreciated this part of the book. It presents the information at a good pace and I liked the way Dale wrote about the situations.
The narrator did an amazing job making the entire book feel engaging. He has a great timbre and I enjoyed listening to him. Hia emphasis was appreciated by me as well as his understanding of when to rest during an exposition.
Overall I can see why this book is so highly recommensed over the years, it definitely helped me. I hope you can find something in here for you as well with my recommendation.

Well performed and informative!
I really enjoyed the reading and the music added in. I felt engaged throughout and took a lot away from this book. It was great to reflect on my experiences with the situations described and my approach to them. I will definitely be employing these tactics for work and I can see a lot of benefit for these practices in personal relationships as well. Thank you for the great lessons and the balance of human psychology with business tactics!
