Publisher's Summary

There are few one-size-fits-all solutions in sales. Context matters. Complex sales are different from one-call closes. B2B is different than B2C. Prospects, territories, products, industries, companies, and sales processes are all different. There is little black and white in the sales profession.

Except for objections. There is democracy in objections. Every salesperson must endure many NOs in order to get to YES. Objections don't care or consider: who you are, what you sell, how you sell, or if you are new to sales or a veteran. For as long as salespeople have been asking buyers to make commitments, buyers have been throwing out objections. And, for as long as buyers have been saying no, salespeople have yearned for the secrets to getting past those NOs.

Following in the footsteps of his blockbuster best sellers Fanatical Prospecting and Sales EQ, Jeb Blount's Objections is a comprehensive and contemporary guide that engages your heart and mind. In his signature right-to-the-point style, Jeb pulls no punches and slaps you in the face with the cold, hard truth about what's really holding you back from closing sales and reaching your income goals. Then he pulls you in with examples, stories, and lessons that teach powerful human-influence frameworks for getting past NO - even with the most challenging objections.

very valuable information!

this was an excellent audiobook. The information contained in this book is valuable enough to listen to the book repeatedly. in fact, I would recommend the people who buy the audiobook should buy a paperback copy of the book and read along with it and highlighted. I would do this with any of the books that are published by this author.

Great listening! Highly recommended!

The author explains both hard and soft skills to develop the best way to turn objections into sales. Great point of view when talking about rejections and how to deal with it. Fantastic!

WOW! Read this book if you are in Sales

Jeb Blount knows exactly what its like being a sales person. He goes into great debt on how to handle objections, a clear outside the box thinking when trying to get a yes! Great Read!

Objections? More like no objections

Ther book did not cover objections and how to overcome them enough to title itself objections. It was a struggle getting through this book as it lacked direction and left you wondering when the good content was coming up.

Enjoyable and definitely helpful

I enjoyed the book and will listen to it a few times. Jeb not only covers objections but the reasoning behind WHY objections bother us so much as humans. This isn't simply a how-to guide on overcoming various customer objections and pages of word tracks. It takes a deep dive into why we do the things we do when faced with objection or even faced with the possibility of objection before we even try... and subsequently sabotage ourselves.

I highly recommend it. The only book I'd put ahead of this one, so far, for developing yourself in sales, persuasion and generally dealing with people as a career is Jordan Belfort's "The Way of the Wolf" Straight Line selling. Rather than say one book is superior to the other, it's better to say they compliment each other and would be a great asset to anyone looking to expand their abilities and take their career to the next level.

sales prospector imperstive

this is the most helpful book I've ever read. I spent most of my career in the end of the sales mode meeting with high-level executive proving a concept and the go shooting terms. suddenly I find myself having to prospect at the front end of the cell cycle and without this book I would be lost.
