FEAT DESCTimeo es uno de los diálogos filosóficos más destacados escritos por Platón. En esta obra, aborda cuestiones cosmogónicas y teológicas al intentar explicar el origen y la estructura del universo. El diálogo comienza con una discusión sobre la naturaleza de la realidad y la necesidad de encontrar una explicación racional para la existencia ordenada y armoniosa del cosmos. A través de la figura de Timeo de Locres, se presenta una cosmología que postula la existencia de un demiurgo, un artesano divino, que utiliza formas eternas o "ideas" para dar forma y orden al caos primordial.

Die Politeia besteht insgesamt aus 10 Büchern. Dieses Hörbuch umfasst als zweiter Teil der Politeia-Hörbuchtrilogie die komplette Lesung der Bücher IV,V und VI, in denen Platon unter anderem die Rolle der Frau und der Familie in dem idealen Staat, das Wesen des Philosophen und die Notwendigkeit der Philosophenherrschaft diskutiert. A partir de uma história repleta de simbologias, Platão nos apresenta conceitos e situações que visam a busca pelo conhecimento em contraste com a ignorância e a manipulação. O enredo integra o livro VII de A República e destaca um diálogo entre Sócrates e Glauco. As personagens imaginam uma situação hipotética em que várias pessoas são mantidas acorrentadas no fundo de uma caverna escura subterrânea. Dessa forma, a “caverna” representa o nosso mundo interior, nossas limitações e a chamada zona de conforto.

El gran filósofo griego Sócrates ha pasado a la historia como uno de los pensadores más importantes de la humanidad, y, debido a que no llegó a dominar la escritura, la gran mayoría de sus enseñanzas fueron transmitidas por su discípulo Platón.
