Publisher's Summary

The Kennedy stares into the abyss

The world's last floating nuclear supercarrier looks into the face of oblivion as her thinned, exhausted, and beleaguered crew face the largest herd of dead ever recorded. Soon the ship's five-acre flight deck will become the scene of a furious and desperate set-piece battle - like no combat any modern army has seen since Stalingrad. The ranks of the dead are infinite, and those of the living are tiny, depleted, and running out of time...and of hope.

The abandoned run ahead of the storm

Surrounded, cut off, and left for dead, Wesley's band of sailors and survivors race ahead of the city-devouring swarm, desperate for a way off the land. Air strikes and shore bombardment threaten to vaporize them at any instant. The inlet onto which they flee is surrounded on all sides and filling up fast, and the least hesitation will get them all killed, infected, devoured - or all three at once.

The operators jump into mouth of hell

Having already dodged a hundred deaths by inches, the operators of Alpha team and MARSOC now fly into two converging storms of unspeakable violence and must parachute in and reinforce the Alamo - the hopeless and doomed defense of the carrier. A thousand things must go right for them to have a prayer of survival. But it's the job of the operators to succeed even when a million things go wrong....

Ride the human spirit to its utmost limit in the most terrifying and thrilling Arisen book yet: Arisen, book five - Exodus.

great book, enjoyed.

awesome narrator as always amazing performance. great story, tons of action/combat. being a big fan of combat especially with the amazing writing of special operators. At times the relentless action seemed never ending and could have used some down time. others wise still great book, awesome series.

it's a zombie/military book....relax!!

all the people on here picking apart this book need to relax or pick up something else. ITS A ZOMBIE BOOK....WITH GUNS.

This book is simple fun. Bray is, as usual, the best and the story is elevated because of him.

enjoy some mindless fun.

Excellent continuation

This book picks up where the last book left off and does an excellent job of continuing the story. I am hoping that the next book has more character development since this was more action oriented.

literally everyone's an idiot in this book

Nothing goes right for these people, either constant stupidity impossibly bad luck.
and I mean nothing they can't get a lucky break you know that something is always going to go wrong and it's so annoying. Arthur doesn't know how to write a book just writes a damn tragedy over and over

This went from entertaining though unbelievable to ridiculous.

Literally every main character is always in unsurvivable circumstances every second yet survives.

The climax is basically never the climax and even when it is completely incredible somehow every one of the main characters survives.

Always mere moments from death surrounded by unbelievable numbers of zombies who do spectacularly non zombie like things. Incredibly somehow every one in of the main characters survives.

With debilitating injuries, critically low on blood, having no respite for days everyone is still capable of inhuman feats of strength, endurance, and cognition. Incredibly somehow every one in of the main characters survives.

This series just went from enjoyable to eye rolling, tedious bologna.
