Publisher's Summary

A brand-new full-cast audiobook production of the classic collaboration from internationally best-selling authors Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett starring Rebecca Front as the Narrator, Michael Sheen as Aziraphale, and David Tennant as Crowley!

"Good Omens...is something like what would have happened if Thomas Pynchon, Tom Robbins and Don DeLillo had collaborated. Lots of literary inventiveness in the plotting and chunks of very good writing and characterization. It’s a wow. It would make one hell of a movie. Or a heavenly one. Take your pick." (Washington Post)

According to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes NutterWitch (the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655, before she exploded), the world will end on a Saturday. Next Saturday, in fact. Just before dinner.

So the armies of Good and Evil are amassing, Atlantis is rising, frogs are falling, tempers are flaring. Everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon - both of whom have lived amongst Earth's mortals since The Beginning and have grown rather fond of the lifestyle - are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture.

And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist....

Don’t miss Season 2 of the Prime original series!

Loved it!

This is a full cast performance, with narration by Rebecca Front - but also has the stars of the TV Show - David Tennant and Michael Sheen. I have watched the Amazon series a couple of times, so it was interesting to hear that, espeically in the case of Aziraphale, this is definitely the *book* version of the characters.

Hugely enjoyable, and I did think that the voice actors playing Ananthema and Pulsifer were much improved on the TV versions, (for example Anathema has a clear sense of humour, and Arthur Darvill is spot on how I have always imagined Newt to be).

This full performance enriched a wonderful, humourous, fantasy novel.

Excellent performance of an excellent book

I might be a bit biased in my rating since Good Omens is my favourite book, and has been for a long time. I've read and re-read it a million times, listened to the radio version, and watched the show. That being said, I still wholeheartedly reccomend listening to this version, especially if you're already a fan. Very well done, loved the full cast performance, and it was a nice touch to have Michael and David voice their characters here as well -kind of like a nice little mash-up of the show characters with the original book dialogue and personalities. 5 stars all around, the book still makes me laugh and I definitely enjoyed listening.

Book Good, Me Likey It

It was very good and it kept me invested in all of it, and it was even in the character's voice, so it was even better. (ᵔᴥᵔ)

My favourite kind of audio book is one with multiple narrators rather than just one.

Glorious!

I’m so glad I got the full cast version. The story is brilliant and funny and pointed and timeless. The cast and narrator are brilliant and really add depth to the reading. This is one of my favourite listens of every book in my library.

Wonderful

Confession: having read Good Omens dozens and dozens of times since the 90s I was not prepared to find anything new here except a convenient format. I was wrong. This is AMAZING.

The cast guides the listener’s attention through the story in a way that’s both intuitive and surprising. I spent the duration of the audiobook with the most peculiar feeling of going back to an old familiar place and finding it brand new, in the best possible way. If you love Good Omens (as everyone should;)) and you listen to audiobooks, this is a must-have - absolutely delightful!

Spot on!

I had very high expectations for this audio performance, and I’m very glad to say that they were met (and then some)! I was very excited to see that both David Tennant and Michael Sheen returned in their roles as Crowley and Aziraphale, respectively, and gave a fantastic audio performance that shows off their chemistry as performers in both voice and film, and makes me eager to rewatch the show on Prime Video. I wholeheartedly recommend this to all fans of the full cast audio performances of Neil Gaiman’s works, and fans of Good Omens in general, whether they enjoy the book or the Prime original series.

You’ll hate that it’s over!

I loved this book, especially the full cast narration! I listened to it at work and couldn’t believe it was over already when the time came. It made me so sad, so I’m listening to it again! All of the characters carry a sort of charm about them and you find yourself faking in love with all of them. Some more than others, but still love them all.

Second Verse, better than the First!

I thoroughly enjoyed the first audio book of "Good Omens", and having watched the televised drama concerning the End of the World, it was wonderful to have this version with the actors for Crowley and Azriphale from the video series reprise their respective roles. A delightful experience and highly recommended for all fans.

Good "Good Omens"

Occasionally couldn't differentiate between Crawley and Aziraphale's dialog but an excellent story, and a well done presentation.

Were Gaiman and Pratchett really involved in this garbage? Hard to believe they would churn out such rubbish. Simply awful.

Cringeworthy clichés meet recycled jokes and themes from 1980s sitcoms. I should have given up halfway through, but suffered through the entire mess.
