Really great

This was my first full halo novel and I thought it was great, Scott Brick did an amazing job I could tell who was speaking in the book without them even saying who was. I’m definitely going to listen or read more.

Post-war Halo is the Best Halo

This is definitely one of my favorite Halo novels outside of the Kilo 5 trilogy. The characters are likable and have a chemistry that generally comes across as organic and Inspector "Mom" Lopis is awesome. The world building in these novels is good, though nothing approaching the emotional exploration of perspectives found in Traviss's novels (that is what she is known for though). The best part is the intricate way that the post-war novels tie in to one another and foreshadow the events of Halo 5, I highly recommend reading Last Light and the Kilo Five trilogy and playing Halo 5 beforehand.

My only two complaints are that the reader (Scott Brick) is very dry compared to Euan Morton and the novel's POV focusing on that of a relatively small, mostly human cast makes its worldbuilding feel significantly weaker than Kilo Five's.

Full sized novel with good characters.

After having listened to Halo: Envoy, I was expecting another great book with a satisfying ending. I really love the idea of the Ferrets and Blue team combined and listened to the mini story in Halo: Fractures multiple times. Spoilers ahead so I'll just say it was an amazing story. The ending was semi satisfying *SPOILER WARNING PLEASE TURN BACK* with the gate being left open for another book, not that bad but still annoying. Wish stories could be more like Combat Evolved or Halo: The Cole Protocol and the sequel. Finished and done but still can have a Sequel. Great book but maybe have the guy who narrated the Kilo Five series narrate some more books.

Another great Halo novel with an amazing narrator.

Not much to say except it was nice to add to the lore and see the ferret team and blue team working together. not to mention Veta Lopez. And to see a Spartan actually get hurt for once reminding us of the fact they even they are mortal. It was more than I expected and Castor was amazing as well.

replace Scott Brick please

Bring back Euan Morton please. The story was great but Scott makes it very hard to listen too with his monotone voice. He has gotten better but still cannot compare to Euan performance in the halo Kilo 5 trilogy.

replace Scott Brick

He really has the personality of well...a brick. The guy from the Kilo 5 books does a much better job giving each character personality and a voice, while Brick is very monotone.

Amazing addition to the Halo Universe

It is unfortunate that the book wasn't as long as its predecessors, but as the saying goes, quality over quantity.

Good book

Well written and great narration but lacking a resolution. The book just ends. I'm hoping to find a continuation.
