Publisher's Summary

Augie

I don't need anyone's protection. I'm fine. But to appease my sister after a home invasion, I agree to take self-defense lessons. They just so happen to be with a big, muscled former navy SEAL who may or may not be everything I've always daydreamed about but never thought I could have.

And he's dead set on looking out for me even when things in my life suddenly get complicated. Between the increasing threats against me and pressure from my wealthy family to be someone I'm not, I'm having a hard time keeping it together. As I begin to fall apart, I lose faith I'll ever meet anyone who'll want a mess like me - much less meet someone strong and capable like Saint Wilde.

The more time I spend with him, however, the more I realize he's not as put together as he seems. And I begin to wonder...while Saint's busy looking after everyone else, who's looking after him?

Saint

After my big, fat mouth gets me in trouble with a high-profile client, my boss takes away the bodyguard gig and sends me back to my hometown to give one of society's elites a few lessons at a local gym. Babysitting an antiques nerd is hardly my idea of a good time, but as soon the attractive, petite man walks into the workout center, I nearly trip over my own feet.

He's effing adorable.

And absolutely scared to death.

He won't tell me what's spooked him, but I won't rest until I find a way to take the fear out of his gorgeous eyes. Even if defending Augie means I have to stop protecting my own heart.

His Saint is the fifth book in the Forever Wilde series but can be listened to out of order. Beware, it includes 90,000 words of delicious man parts touching, grandfathers meddling, sassy siblings, cats mrrp-ing...and one Stevie.

A great performance

Everytime I listen to one of these stories I can see myself in them most of the time it makes me sad 😥 and then when someone comes and love's someone like me (or the part of me I can relate to) I become hopeful that maybe romance can happen to me too. But then I still think that maybe I'm different overweight etc and then believe that maybe it won't happen to me as I'd hoped

This book is actually 2 love stories in one

I really liked this book. Saint and Augie are great together. This book had everything from love and drama to humor.

There are actually 2 love stories in this. The 2nd being an added bonus. It was really sweet as well but I won't spoiler who.

It was great hearing about the other characters from the other books and where they are now.

This book had a lot of drama. The whole thing with Augie and I thought the reasoning behind it all was rather weak. If you're going to have that much drama it better be for a better reason than that but regardless the plot that followed was really interesting. I loved that Sainte was so protective of his Augie. Yes it's his job but he def took a special interest. if you're just lookimg for a love story with raunchy sex this isn't it. With everything going on there's aren't a lot of scenes and a lot of them are more the cute quick kind with more handies than anything thrown in

I was a little disappointed with the bonus scene after the epilogue. It seemed like a wasted opportunity to pop a question given the scene description.

There's a good news bomb dropped that I won't spoiler but I loved hearing and some added mystery/drama surrounding Grampa which doesn't get resolved but I must find out about. so I can't wait til Grandpas book comes out. Overall this book was super interesting.

So much immature drama

Sometimes I can’t believe these characters are in their late 20s and 30s…they are always assuming the worst and never communicate - they get drunk or turn off their phone or cry or run away - and then the next second they’re horny again…this just feels very juvenile and exhausting after awhile
