Publisher's Summary
An all-new production of the phenomenal best seller, now featuring exclusive new conversations with the authors!
For more than two decades, legendary trainer Tim Grover has taken the greats - Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and hundreds of relentless competitors in sports, business, and every walk of life - and made them greater. Now, for the first time ever, he reveals what it takes to achieve total mental and physical dominance, showing you how to be relentless and achieve whatever you desire.
Direct, blunt, and brutally honest, Grover breaks down what it takes to be unstoppable: you keep going when everyone else is giving up, you thrive under pressure, you never let your emotions make you weak. In “The Relentless 13”, he details the essential traits shared by the most intense competitors and achievers in sports, business, and all walks of life. Relentless shows you how to trust your instincts and get in the Zone; how to control and adapt to any situation; how to find your opponent’s weakness and attack.
Grover gives you the same advice he gives his world-class clients - “don’t think” - and shows you that anything is possible. Packed with previously untold stories and unparalleled insight into the psyches of the most successful and accomplished athletes of our time, Relentless shows you how even the best get better...and how you can too.

Fantastic Validation For Moving Dreamers
This book works well at providing perspective on our self imposed limitations and how to shatter them with relentless pursuit. My only hang up on it is the chapter about indulging "The dark side". I think this is naive, however, this is a tiny portion of the book and shouldn't stale your opinion of the major message.

Not really worth the full listen
This book is just repeating and lamenting the same point over and over. I don't fully agree with all of Tim's points, but he obviously had some great success in his career. So, his points are valid. This book is more just a good kick in the butt than it is informative or truly helpful.

An exercise in ego
A cooler never closes, and a closer never cleans, but a cleaner never acknowledges any of this, he’s too busy stepping on throats and cheating on his wife with his well-deserved girls. When you are a cleaner, you can punch people in the face or throw them though a window, and everyone will think your awesome and respect you for it, and if they don’t, F-em, your too busy with winning anyways. We’re going to find your buttons to make this all possible, but I’m never going to talk about how to achieve any of it, if you’re a cleaner, you’ll already know how, I’m just here to point it out to you, but not in any substantial way. When you’re a cleaner everything around you disappears, and all your left with is yourself, because you’re a winner. Done. Next.
If you had trouble getting through that parody “paragraph” good luck with the book.

Should be called, "Why you're not Michael Jordan"
I'm a Chicago Bulls and Jordan fan which is why I gave it an extra star. There are no helpful tips to be relentless. The word count would be half if he didn't say, "A cooler this, a closer that, and a cleaner this," 1,000 times. MJ made you great, Tim. Not the other way around.
Do not buy.

turns out I'm not a cleaner
it's very direct in what it claims to do. it is not a motivational or inspirational book. it is meant to explain how the extremely rare elite professionals think and behave. most likely you are not like that and never could be. it requires being a laser focused psycho who lives an unbalanced life, gaining nothing from the rewards and validation that drives others to succeed. rather it requires an addiction to perpetual improvement and victory for its own sake. interesting read in any case

I have read a lot of self-development books. This book is THE BEST!!!
The 1st book that really gets me to act, learn and grow...
Each chapter is clear and to the point, with helpful memorable athletes' stories. I love it !
The AUDIO is amazing, with added comments from Tim Grover himself between each chapter (I listened to the book at speed 1.05, and will right now begin to listen to it... again... )
