Publisher's Summary

Willa Knight: Dead? Alive? Damned to a state of eternal bad luck? Willa and the Abcurse brothers are back, and more determined than ever to stick by each other. Unfortunately, Staviti has other plans, plans that threaten to change the natural order of the worlds—though nobody really understands why. His agenda may very well affect all beings on Minatsol, even those that thought themselves safe in Topia. Even Willa-invincible-Knight. Unsure with her new place in the worlds, Willa must follow the Abcurses to their new post: Champions Peak, a secluded mountain far from civilization, where the most powerful sols have been summoned to hone their abilities through direct contact with the gods. There is a chance that she might survive her time on the mountain, but it seems like staying alive amidst the powerful occupants of the Peak is the least of her concerns. Her real problem is staying on the mountain at all. This is a full novel, 90,000 words. Book 4 of 5 in the Curse of the Gods Series

This series is not to be missed!

The narrator is incredible! The leads are loveable and hilarious! These books have lead to huge smiles, too late of nights, laugh-out loud moments while my family is asleep (panick I may have woke someone haha), butterflies and just a true moment to be lost in a story and love every character for a seperate reason. Thank you to the authors and thank you to the narrator!!

Well worth the wait!

I have been continuously checking to see if there was another book in this series and finally there it was. The narrator does such a great job. though Willa does get a little annoying from time to time.

worse cliffhanger ever

this book literally cuts off right in the middle of it. I liked the other books but this one feels like the author ran out of stuff and cut it off for book 5....whenever that comes out....

Falling out of love with this series

I'm not as enamored as I once was with this series... I loved the first book and I liked the second book. The third book was ok and this one was MEH. This book reminds me of a kid that does something cute, but after they do it for the fifth time it becomes more annoying than cute. It's like when my niece poured a box of cereal into my puppy's bowl. It was super cute and she was so proud of herself. But if she did that every day, wastes 5 boxes of cereal, and on top of that I have to nurse a sick puppy who just had bowls of Cocoa Puffs... then its not so cute anymore.

Well, that's exactly how I feel about Willa. Five books later. After becoming a Beta-God. After dying and coming back to life. After all that, Wills is still dumb as dirt.

In the first book, I laughed at some of the silly stuff she would say or do. In Book Two and Three, I smirked but started to wish her character would grow a bit more. And now in Book Four, I'm just turned off.

The Abcurses just don't POP for me. There is nothing exciting or suspenseful about them at all.

There was potential for a good storyline when Willa discovered some things about the Original God's past. But the authors chose not to focus on that, but rather spend more time on Willa obsessing over hot dudes and swimming. And swimming means sex in the book.

Now we all knew this was a reverse harem book, so swimming is expected and required. So I'm not complaining about there being a lot of sex, I'm complaining about there not being anything else.

The purpose of a book has to be something other than sex... otherwise we are just reading porn. We buy books for the story. And if those stories also have good sex scenes that's great, but they aren't the main purpose of buying the books.

I'm just not feeling this installment. Maybe I'm getting to grown up for Willa. I hope Book 5 spends more time on the Gods and their problems instead of Willa doing her version of the Three Stooges.

The narrator for this series is Vanessa Moyen. Her voice for Willa is perfect and she does a good job at juggling the different male characters of this book. No complaints with her.

Book rating:

2 Stars = Decent. Has Potential. Possibly a good idea for a story but something could have been better. Sometimes it's because the author put too little or too much into the wrong parts of the story. New authors sometimes fall in this ranking and move up as their series progresses. Doesn't mean I hated it. Just means it was missing something to push it over the hump.

BRILLIANT!!!

I’ve read all the previous books and this one is the most action packed one yet! You must read it! The voice acting is so on point, I’ve listened to other readings from this voice actress and I love her!

Great story, narrator is fun but needs some honing

Story is great and fun. Creative. But each book the voice of the brothers change slightly. And by slightly, they almost sound like different people each time. However, overall, if you get pass this, it's a great story. Narrator is good at reading and her voice of the main protagonist never changes. Capturing, just wished the brothers were more consistent...vocally speaking.

Narrator makes all the characters seem immature.

I was pretty disappointed by the narrator. I think we lose something from the story because the characters all sound immature and sometimes cartoonish. I think the story was good but I cant be sure. I'd recommend reading this one, rather than listening, if possible.
