Publisher's Summary

The inspiring journey of The Celestine Prophecy and The Tenth Insight continues, carrying us to a new adventure and new spiritual truths that are now emerging in human awareness. In the remote snow-covered mountains near Tibet lies a community long thought to be a mere myth called Shambhala, or Shangri-La. Here, in this space, is knowledge that has been kept hidden for centuries - and an insight that can have profound impact on the way each of us lives our lives. Your search for Shambhala begins with the words of a child and the vision of an old friend. Those slender clues and a powerful synchronicity will lead to Kathmandu, Nepal, and then to Lhasa, Tibet. You will pass through regions where anger and compassion struggle for ascendancy, and arrive at a place where the stunning reality about human prayer-energy is about to be revealed.

Amazing story poor sound quality

Honestly this whole series is so inspiring; I've read all Redfields books numerous times to help mew find my own path.

Levar Burton is a wonderful narrator as well, however the actual sound quality on this is quite dreadful. If I didn't love the story so much I would return it.

Sound recording is horrible

Alot of great information, but you may want to consider re-recording this book! As much as I want to follow it, the sound is not keeping me focused!

11th Insight

The tape was fuzzy at the beginning but cleared up.

I enjoyed the book. It's message was clearly presented with repetition through out the story. It helped me remember the take away.

Levar Burton did a good job narrating.

Interesting book

The book was very interesting and I enjoyed the story but unfortunately the recording was very poor and made for listening difficult so it took away from the enjoyment of the book

Not as good as the first book

Did not enjoy the new narrator voice, and the recording was very choppy. I was looking for much more of a continuation from the original book

The Secret of Shambala Read by Levar Burton

This was a good story but I found that it wasn’t as insightful as the previous two books. The story didn’t have as much I could relate to. Also the biggest problem was the quality of the sound. It was like listening to an old time radio show. I recommend another version .

Terrible audio that needs to be fixed !!!!

Please contact the production company and ask for another copy from the master of this audiobook so we can all enjoy it. I’ve tried to listen many times but am distracted by the less than amateur quality.

Sound -not good

Over all the story is good, a bit redundant after listening to the Celestine Prophecy but still good with some learning. The sound quality of the recording was not at all good, had to increase the treble and completely eliminate any bass in order to understand what was being said. The reading could have been better.
