Publisher's Summary

Pirateaba returns, bringing you the thrilling fourth instalment of chart-topping LitRPG series The Wandering Inn.

It’s still winter, but everyone’s on the move. Rags the goblin is heading north, seeking allies against the Goblin Lord.

And Erin is going home...or trying to, at least. She’s determined to bring back cheer to The Wandering Inn - as well as Christmas! But the coldest time of the year leads to strange encounters with a number of people.

At the same time, Ryoka Griffin is far from what she would consider to be “home”. Deep in the north, in the city of Invrisil, she finds herself as the guest of Magnolia Reinhart. She must carefully negotiate the good graces of the Deadly Flower of the North. Like Erin, her success depends on friendships made by meetings of coincidence.

Includes the story of Wistram Days, when Ceria and Pisces first meet in the Academy of Mages, Wistram.

There’s nothing like The Wandering Inn

Every time a new book comes out I always go through it too fast it’s just so good! Once again I find myself waiting for the next book.

Ive looked and looked and just could not find anything better then The Wandering Inn audiobooks.
LitRPG at its finest.

The story is amazing.
The Narration is so good I still can’t believe it.

The combination of a good passionate Writer and a good passionate Voice actor.

Parsneau is one of the greats

At the pinnacle of voice acting, there are some truly famous names: Mel Blanc, Seth MacFarlane, Dan Castellaneta… people who have created whole universes of characters with their voices. Place Andrea Parsneau’s voice at that level.

This delightfully sprawling series, more like episodic television than the novel in form, keeps introducing new interwoven storylines, with new key and supporting characters. Parsneau creates more distinct voices, vocal mannerisms for different species… she keeps this whole world so rich and alive. Her performance in this series is staggering.

The storylines spanning this series are utterly compelling too. There are actually all kinds of little scene level problems and word use problems in it, but the characters, world building and sheer narrative drive of the writing are forcefully compelling.

I view each book in this series as a “Season” with many “Episodes” in it. It’s trending towards a final resolution, but I’m not impatient about reaching it. The episode-by-episode experience of this story is so compelling that I actually don’t want a final resolution to arrive. I don’t want the show to end.

But the success of the audiobook version of this series is entirely dependent on Andrea Parsneau’s performance, I can’t even fathom what this listen would be without her.

Always a pleasure ❣️

🤭 I find myself 24hrs away from my next credits and I am waging a battle against lashing out and buying more credits to start the next book or waiting it out 😠

Great story read by a talented narrator!

At first I was not sure that I would like this series but I found it excellent and entertaining. Andrea is a very talented narrator and I listen to many stories read by her. Keep up the great work!

More awesomeness from Aba and Parsneau

I love the pace that these audiobooks are
coming out at now! It’s such a massive story that Pirate Aba has dared to open up before us that I admire her world building bravery. Another thing that I love about this series is how refreshingly unpredictable it is. Every time some big event begins to roll out, my veteran-of-150-fantasy-books brain has a number of guesses as to how it is going to turn out; I’m almost always wrong!! And her way is almost always better! How does she do that?? The icing on the cake (like the serious artisan cheesecake or butter-cream icing that you find on the best cupcakes) is Andrea Parsneau’s narrating. Her vast array of characterizations and atomic-clock consistency blow my mind. There are at least 5 major antinium characters, and they all sound like antinium while managing to all be distinctive! She’s a Gold-ranked narrator, if not a Named Narrator.

Aba and Parsneau are a one-two punch that knocks it out if the park every time (how’s that for mixing metaphors?). Can’t wait for book 5.

Loved every second

In this volume you get to know about the mages of whistrum and how the horns of hammarad became who they are. This book lets you know just how powerful the beings in this world actually are and how knowledge is the most important thing you can have at your side. The inn is only part of the second half and I do wish it had more of it and Erin but you do get to know more about the other humans and the plans of the antinium. This story feels more like a build up to something else maybe a level up. All said it was more of a side story then the main story but if you like the world of the wandering inn you should enjoy this book.
