    Being a starter is a blessing because it means that you don’t hesitate to take the first step. But there is a difference between an immature and a mature starter. Immature starters use a lot of energy up front because they are only interested in the reward. Along the way, that motivation fizzles out, leaving you disappointed, frustrated, and even ready to quit.

    In today’s episode, Lisa shares her experience as an immature starter. She used to be obsessed with the destination, robbing herself of peace and contentment for years.

    Now, Lisa is still a starter, but she is a mature starter. She removed two words from her vocabulary, significantly changing her relationship with her goals. She has no problem launching into something new, but she has taught herself to appreciate the journey and focus on mastery instead of speed.
