I'm not going to lie... I had big -ok SUPER big- expectations for this book.
Unlike Ryan's first book, which I picked up on a whim - after listening to 'Sell it like Serhant' - I was dumbfounded. I've been listening to personal help and business books for 2 decades.
Not ONCE, had a booked touched me and uplifted me along with educating me in such a specific way as that book...
Until - THIS ONE!!
I know you're a realtor, Ryan, but DAMN! You do 3 things VERY well:
1 - You know your stuff & you have a very strategic but digestible way of breaking it down. I don't feel like there's any wasted time in your book - you give all the goods but in a way that is so relatable and memorable that the lessons get implemented immediately.
2 - Your performance! You read the audio (which I prefer as an audio learner) as if you have all the time in the world for me. You care about enunciation, about clarity, and emphasis. It's the 1 man show on the other side of the recording and yet it feels like you're talking directly to me.
3 - You're a storyteller! Each story lends itself to the deeper expression of each theme while simultaneously brining the entertainment factor up by double. By adding these stories in this particular style, the lessons simply stick. (June Shen - case in point ;)
If you're reading this review and have any doubt about BME, all I can say is you wouldn't want to live without this book. It's applicable to anyone who wants to live more fully and be more alive! Get it - I know you'll love it - my Big Money Energy along with my huge expectations that were actually fulfilled, know that you will!!

Definitely geared for a new Real Estate agents
I have 25 years of experience in business, so this book did not offer anything useful to me.
There is some good advice for a novice or semi-pro real estate agent or even a business man, if you have few years of experience, most of this stuff you will already be aware of.

For the Go-Getter
This book was Audible referral. I never heard of Ryan Serhant but read the summary, a couple of reviews and figured it'd be a good "read."
Ryan's a guy who walks the talk. He tells it like he did it and I found his stories about his growth as a real estate broker very captivating. I can only guess how many real estate agents live and work in New York, but Ryan moved to the top.
I don't sell real estate but I can use his ideas to better my Truck sales career.
I'll reccommend this anyone who's aspiring for more out of their career and life to listen to this book. It will inspire you to do that little bit more to get you what you're looking for.

Nothing Short Of Awesome
Warmly witty & had me laughing a lot, while inspiring me to keep believing in myself and go for my dreams...what I feel called to do...lots of great ideas on how to make this happen as well...at 66 I am self-publishing my book & starting a business I have now trademarked across Canada. I was sad when the book was over, but I am going to use it as a regular pep talk to summon my courage on the challenging days. I do think that when he was 10 his dad should have helped him get the wood to the correct spot. So refreshing. Ryan Serhant could inspire a turtle lol.

I love this!
You know how people listen to motivational speeches when they are the gym? I listen to Ryan (either via Youtube, podcast, and now BME audible) whenever I'm at work. It's not the same old self help book with repetitive "work harder, you'll be fine" every chapter. Ryan shares his tactics and how he applies them to his own business. Good book but nothing new
After listening to Ryan's first book I was excited to get my hands on this one to see what's new. I was a little disappointed because it's ultimately like a part 2 or continuation of the first book. And if you really break it down it's just your typical motivational book that's been done time and time again. My biggest takeaway from this book is to have confidence in yourself! If you are servicing high net worth clients then you have to dress & look the part, act like it's not your first rodeo, and believe in yourself.

Better than expected
This was a similar theory to the book, The Alter Ego Effect, except Ryan is selling in the real world and is really applying the principles originally laid out in that book. You can show up as your BIGGEST and BEST version of yourself or the smallest version of yourself. It is a choice. His delivery is spot on as usual.

I watched him on YouTube and was hopping he would talk about how he 'keeps a picture of himself aged to 80 years so he remembers who he is REALLY working for and why working out in the am is so important to dominate the rest of the day'. Had he only included these 2 things - to me - this book would have been a complete. Nonetheless he has some other great advice. Sometimes it may feel like a real estate agent might benefit more this book, but keep an open mind and you will get much out of it. definitely recommend.

Another amazing book by Ryan Serhant
I love the way Ryan speaks. His personality really shows through his works, while his appearance on MDL portrays a different picture of him. If you are curious on if you would like this book or not, check out his YouTube channel. If you like it, it is a must buy. I really enjoy that he reads this book himself instead of hiring out the job. The only book I listen to not at > 1.7 the speed
