The story and world is quite interesting, i dont want to spoil anything, unfortunately this is horribly marred by insanely long stat pages being drawled out over and over. It was worse in the beggining but even later I repeatably had to skip forward.

The MC gains 33 skills immediately and even if hes only progressed in a couple of those skills, the value of all 33 gets stated when showing the progress..

worth the read but be ready to manually skip parts.

Another thing to note is that the speaking parts of certain characters are much louder and not done very well but its "good enough" imo.

honestly if you dont mind reading a txt version instead of a audio book i would recommend enoying the story that way, a txt version would get 5 stars from me.

I found myself pulling into the world of this and unable to put this read down.

Story:
It's a pretty standard reincarnation story, but well written and with many qualities I like e.g. despite being 10 (13 ish), MC does not act immaturely (the whole hormones overwriting past life experience shtick doesn't make sense).
All was going well until author almost ruined the whole book in a single fight by dumping all the fantasy tropes out of nowhere:
* it drags on with multiple chapters, with multiple PoVs of the same time frame
* MC was in trouble, but has a skill that can help, so of course he forgot about it until the very last moment
* MC gets saved by plot armor (don't mind this too much due to MC's age. but he should grow out of it)
* MC forgot what happened after recovery :(
Luckily, it's just this one fight and doesn't happen again. I hope author will not go down this route in future sequels.

Performance:
Pretty good duet narration in general, but please get rid of the special sound effect for system messages ... it's atrocious

This was good. Nothing game changing but if this is the authors first work then hats off to him.If your a fan of this genre then I'd say this is similar with "Nova Roma" by J.R Mathews or "Elyde's" by Drew wells.(both are better imo)

Definitely a slow burn...but I think it could have done with a time skip here and there. The MC is 10 YEARS OLD for the majority of the book and while it's explained that stats mature you physically it makes some scenes a bit silly when I realize that lil bros not old enough to shave.

The whole "memories of a previous life" thing rarely gets brought up after a while and feels like a forgotten plot device. Hope to see it relevant in subsequent books cause I'll for sure keep an eye out for them.

Narration was a little rough in the beginning- Christian sounded like that old man from 'Family Guy' that whistles his "r's" but it got better as the book went on.

Credit well spent.

It is rare to find a Litrpg story that does justice to the Litrpg genre. most Litrpg stories are just fantasy stories with some meaningless numbers added to it.

This story is well written and a true Litrpg story.
