BEST BOOK TO READ AS A TEENAGER

I first read this book many years ago as a teenager and grasped only part of the message but have re read it many times over the years. Today I am a highly successful surgeon and have a wonderful family at home, and I credit this book and its message a great part of my success in life. This book provides a generic blueprint for anyone to achieve their dreams and live the life they have always wanted. Thank you.

Blah blah blah

Have you ever met someone that seems to talk forever without ever saying anything.
Well that guy is this book

transformational

This book is incredibly useful. my advice would be that if it doesn't resonate, then pick it up again at a later date. it is simple, insightful, and applicable to every aspect of life.

Hard to pay attention

The content is fine though a little repetitive. My trouble with it is Stephens narration. He is very monotone which for me means I can't pay attention for more then a few minutes at a time. Normally not a big deal but this audio book is 13 hours long

fair

Very wordy & monotone. I think it's a book to read & highlight. I struggled to listen to it all.

Long and religious

Writing could of been more objective and condensed. At times it felt like the bible.

Not worth the time in my opinion

I'm always skeptical when there are books or articles claiming X number of claims to accomplish/be something.
This shouldn't be such a highly prized book. Sure it has some great insightful ways of viewing things but at the end of the day, this could be delivered fully in a couple of pages.

too philosophic for audiobook format

It sounds more like academic reading which is much easier to get when it's on paper and allows stopping at some point to think. It's too complicated for audiobook format when the author dives into philosophical discussions about the importance of one or another habit or idea...

A must read for someone who tried everything

Getting focused on important tasks can be hard. Especially when our own mind is designed to proect us from stess and other negative things we perceive. I found this book really helpful for me to help focus on important tasks in my business #Audible1

Living it and loving it

I have had the opportunity to put these practices in place and continue to improve and live by them. I have also had the opportunity to have these best practices implemented within my company and they are driving amazing results. This is worth implementing these practices in your life. It’s great for time management, creating a culture of team work and to resolve and remove conflict.

Steven Covy I tip my hat to you.
