A very good reminder of how emtions work
I chose this book because I was in a period of struggling to manage my emtions. I clearly felt that I needed to find some way to control them before they control me. Honestly after completing the book, I cant say that l learnt anything that I didnt know before, but it was the reminder that i needed , and came in an organized way. I think i will revisit it every once a while. One thing I appreciate very much in the book is the authenticity of the author, being honest and truthful, never pretend he knows better than anyone else, it does raise the impact of this book on readers to another level.

Good starter/reminder
I feel like this book scratches the surface. It’s a good start or a reminder for managing emotions. Overall, I enjoyed it. Easy listen, easy to grasp. Some practices to put in place. A good jumpstart for what I was looking for. Some points resonated more than others which is to be expected.

enjoyed the whole book, all the helpful hints. I suppose if one wants to get quick answers, they can just review first 1/2 chapter and skip to the last 1 or two chapters. last 1 hr or 30 minutes of the audio book.

I wish the whole world would read this
This book is incredible and life changing. He frequently cites different credible authors, like Eckhart Tolle and Dale Carnegie. I’ve implemented some of the parts he discusses and immediately saw huge benefits in my confidence and self awareness. He talks about how we can overcome dopamine addictions, our ego, and negative thoughts/emotions through explaining how the brain and the ego works. I’ve recommended it to my friends, but whoever ends up reading this is truly fortunate
