Publisher's Summary

Sometimes history lies, and the tales of Minatsol and Topia are no different. Since the birth of Topia, Staviti has woven a web of deceit around the truth of creation, striving only to maintain his power while destroying anything that gets in his way. Now, Willa and the Abcurses are determined to strip back the layers, to uncover the truth, and to understand the true nature of the two worlds before it's too late.

The only problem?

Any wrong step in their quest to restore balance might have terrible repercussions. Every single being - living or dead - might have to pay the price.

I just love this lovely series to quote pica :P

These books were awesome! They held me with rapt attention, just waiting to see what happened next. I love the random humor at inappropriate times and willas inner thought so much.

ugly tears of joy

Dear Gods help me, this book gave me chills, tears, and laughter. No spoilers! But both Jane and Jaymin give you all the answers you have been wanting and then some. I will say the ending brought me to tears from pure joy. There are turns in the book that caught me off guard but they make sense of everything that has been happening up until then. The storyline flows nicely and action sequences were superbly written.

Sacred Willa Does It Again!

I love these books! I want the story to go on! Willa is funny, charming and endearing! The family aspect here is so sweet. Please write more about this family, their new world and what new joys and tribulations twinning will bring them! Haha!

Very sad to reach the ending

I have very much enjoyed this whole series/ That being said, this was my least favorite of all the novels I just felt the cusp of the story was resolved very fast without giving us a glimpse into our villain. I would have liked to have seen him earlier and be terrified from them on out and then see the ending we got. IT just felt rushed. This whole world was great and vivid.

The narration was wonderful! It would be half the experience if you only read this series. You get so much more with this narration~ She is stellar!

Decent Ending

These books have been epic up until this last one. It was a bit of an anticlimactic ending. And there were some seriously anticipated sex scenes that fell totally flat, and don’t get me wrong, Jane Washington is hands down my girl and one of my favorite authors, but I could tell she wrote them. It’s notoriously known she does not like to write sex scenes and it shows. I really feel she leaves routinely with blue balls.

The ending and the big fight? It was barely there.

Everything else was the same. Same enjoyable characters and humor.

Another reviewer did say they hated how suddenly Willa lost all her clumsiness - and I did miss that too - but the authors did suggest that her powers finally balanced out which makes sense for the change in character.

Anyway - it’s wrapped up and done, but I couldn’t give it 5 stars. I think it was rushed and that’s a bummer. Otherwise, at least we got a happy ending!

Good completion

Felt like the narration on this was a bit dry and emotionless. Made it difficult to really get into the book.
Glad it finally made it to Audible. Was a good end to the series and wrapped it all up. Seemed a bit rushed and really lacking something that the other books had though.

My freakin heart!

I love love love this series and honestly couldn’t get enough. My heart pounded with the entire story for all the books. I cried at certain parts and then felt the love that Willa and all the boys had for one another. It made me realize what I had in my own life was just as special and beautiful. I love this book and made me loving on my husband that much better because feeling the love from the words written warmed my heart so much. I honestly hope this turns into a movie or tv series so we can all see the beauty on screen ❤️ thank you for such an amazing story. I will be relistening and rereading everything ❤️❤️❤️ starting now 😍

I like sex but...

I enjoy a heady sex scene, but it kept interupting the flow of the life of death throughout the book. the story was interesting but it was sprinkled with sex scenes at odd places.

Great characters... terrible love scenes!

This series had so much potential but it just didn't quite do it for me. I loved the main characters, they were well developed and very funny. I found myself laughing frequently. However, the sex scenes just weren't there. If you are going to make a series with so much sex, you need to be good at writing it. If you are looking for more fantasy books with great stories but better sex, try Sarah J Maas, Karen Marie Moning, or Laura Thalassa.
