Story
Arthur is only in New York for the summer, but if Broadway has taught him anything, it’s that the universe can deliver a showstopping romance when you least expect it. Ben thinks the universe needs to mind its business. If the universe had his back, he wouldn’t be on his way to the post office carrying a box of his ex-boyfriend’s things. But when Arthur and Ben meet-cute at the post office, what exactly does the universe have in store for them? Maybe nothing. After all, they get separated. Maybe everything. After all, they get reunited.

Story
Greece in the age of heroes. Patroclus, an awkward young prince, has been exiled to the kingdom of Phthia to be raised in the shadow of King Peleus and his golden son, Achilles. “The best of all the Greeks”—strong, beautiful, and the child of a goddess—Achilles is everything the shamed Patroclus is not. Yet despite their differences, the boys become steadfast companions. Their bond deepens as they grow into young men and become skilled in the arts of war and medicine—much to the displeasure and the fury of Achilles’ mother, Thetis, a cruel sea goddess with a hatred of mortals.

When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius—his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. Mateo and Rufus are total strangers, but, for different reasons, they’re both looking to make a new friend on their End Day. The good news: There’s an app for that. It’s called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure—to live a lifetime in a single day.

amazing.
this book puts a whole new perspective on life. it is extremely sad and extremely happy at the same time. the passion of the voice actors really captures the emotions of the characters and what they may have been feeling in those moments. i wish i could experience it for the first time again. 10/10.

I’m CRYING
Wasn’t expecting my first days of 2022 to go down like this!
In a world where your death date is predicted, I truly wasn’t prepared for all the emotional turns Adam Silvera took me on. Both within the story and also in my own head, imagining what life would be like if I knew when my family members would die.
It’s a beautifully told story. I really do feel like I got a glimpse of the sadness, but also the freedom, found in death.
Great voice acting as well! Would love to see this concept turned into a movie or tv show some day!

a bit over hyped but worth a listen
when 9 hours is spent making you connect to characters of course you're going to feel a little sad when their stories come to an end but I'll be honest I didn't quite enjoy the journey to get attached to them. the parts about this book that I like the most is when they Branch out to surrounding characters and tell us what they're doing this day

Powerful
Just like the characters in this book, how they want more time. Having more time with the characters themselves and more to go on would be amazing, but where it ended was well done.
