Great listen
I like the characters and the slight hint of romance towards the end and I am going to buy the next one

Amazing read

The story ended kind of abruptly but otherwise I love it. The characters are deep and well-thought-out. The voicing is spot on and it's almost impossible to not hang off of every word. And it's not overly serious like some books.

Great guilty pleasure

Trope filled, self insert fun at it's best or worst (if this isn't your thing). It feels like it fits right along side all the isekai anime that have been flooding the market over the last few years.

The narration was fantastic in my opinion. love the fact it was a duel cast. I usually don't mind when it's only a single person but when you have someone doing the male voices and someone else doing the female ones it makes a world of difference.

Only gave the story 3 stars because it's unoriginal and a but short for my liking. while not poorly written it definitely isn't going to be for everyone. Has monster girl, harem and polygamy themes, especially closer to the end of this first book and am assuming it only ramps up from this point.

Fun and Enticing

First off, if you're an isekai/harem anime fan you'll love this series. The characters are brimming with personality and the narrators do an excellent job expressing them. While you won't find an intricate magic system or extensive world-building, the author does an excellent job with crafting an interesting and relatable world to readers familiar with RPG's and/or DnD. The story won't knock your socks off but neither is it boring or predictable, this first book does a good job in setting up the rest of the story and making the reader want to continue.

The narration is really my strongest reason for recommending this series. If I had not seen the credits I would have guessed this was a full-cast audio book like the GraphicAudio productions, minus the music and sound effects. The voices given to each character fit their personalities to a tee, and really bring the story to life. I fell more and more in love with the characters as time went on, and found myself re-listening to my favourite parts of the book multiple times.

As far as the "romantic" moments of the story go... the scenes in this first book are rather short and conservative compared to subsequent volumes, but still well-written. If you're looking for more "detailed" scenes, the rest of the series definitely won't disappoint.

not a fan

story isn't bad but it's not compelling. The characters are decent tho kinda boring minus the orc lol. But one character cant save the terrible magic system and the mcs broken powers. The "magic" battle with that guildmaster was dreadfull. Lastly the author is inconsistent why write a scene where the character places limitations on himself like say not use his magic on mages to avoid discovery, then go and have him use it on the first 2 mages he encounters after that. Could be enjoyable if your not interested in details or depth.
